The 2nd Gen Explorer in particular was a legitimate rollover hazard, pretty big national controversy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firestone_and_Ford_tire_controversy https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ford-settles-explorer-rollover-suit/

what's with the window decal my guy
Well ya see here sonny, at the time my K5 had the Engine, Transmission, Transfer case and Axles outta an M1008 T'was talking about it at a car show to a dude who belonged to a mil vehicle collector club and upon finding out i had the entire drivetrain outta an M1008 the dude said "oh hey i got a windshield decal if you want it" uhh okay so he walks back to his CUCV and pulls one out for me, i guess he had a bunch made up for the other peeps in the club. Now tho it only has the Engine and Transfer case outta the M1008. However it wont be there much longer as the engines getting pulled for a 454 and its getting taken off soons that happens

Every time someone mentions a 454 it reminds me of a 89 Suburban I had with a 454 that I'd pull a trailer with. Good, reliable vehicle. 8mph to the gallon, not so fancy.
