Airsoft Megathread XI - "MOST PAINFUL AIRSOFT GUN IN EXISTENCE!"

Didn't see the part about your WE Hi-Power. I've got the same one, except licensed by Umarex. I've had it for a few years now and it only cycled fine for the first few months. It's a nice replica, if only it could cycle.
I just wish I knew how to fix it. I think it's something catching or causing to much friction with the slide which causes it to not blow back fully. It's get about 1-3 shots off. I think it may even be the trigger mechanism.
Oh well, makes a nice display piece at any rate.
I've been told the hammer spring is the cause.
I'm wondering if it's even worth taking into a shop and seeing if they can do anything for it.
Welcome to airsoft, where everything is either a featureless Chinese knockoff or edgy mallninja zombiekiller status.
yeah — they even shoot the blanks if there's some action around, adds up to atmoshpere a lot.
There were 2 tanks on this game driving around, and 4 or 6 BMPs which were actually used carry infantry around or provide some cover on open areas, I even got to ride it a few times.
Of course this isn't a regular sunday game, events like this are once in 2 months in my region or so.
Hey guys, would anyone in here be interested and buying all of my Airsoft gear?
Flecktarn shirt, pants, vest (pre-sewn, not MOLLE), knee protection, half-mask, goggles etc.
I have a CYMA CMO28C that was repaired at a Swedish airsoft store, body almost completely switched out for a full wood imitation stock, hop-up upgraded and internals well taken care of.
Also a CZ P-09, green gas pistol, blowback.
What size are the shirt and pants? You got pictures of this stuff? What brand is the pistol? What's a ballpark price you give for it all?
I think as with anything that you sell in a set. People are often only interested in 1 or 2 specific parts. Your whole set was customized for yourself and rarely will you find anyone interested in buying it all. But as @chunkymonkey said you might get people interested by including a bunch of pics and an approximate price for the whole set and maybe you could include a price you're looking for with separate parts like the rifle and pistol.
I'll sort that out during the day, just wanted to put out a feeler for it before I took the dive in and posted everything!
Here's a link to an in-depth airsoft beginner guide written by the nice people over on the FPAIR Discord. If you're new to the sport be sure to give it a read, there's a lot of useful information in there.
Link also added to OP.
Overall good but holy fuck why does it even mention mesh eyepro in any other context than "DON'T EVEN FUCKING THINK ABOUT IT!"? Mesh eyepro is not eyeprotection at all. The BBs can shatter upon impact, especially bios or tracers, and the mesh itself can throw flakes of rust and broken paint into your eyes when hit.
I fucking love MP7s, MP9's, UMPs and other niche smgs. Great pick.
My KWC M712 is like that. It holds like 20 rounds and on full auto it dumps the mag in about a second and it's loud as hell.
Same with my UZI.
I got new toys today, at long last!

the perfect loadout for hiding in a pile of cardboard boxes
My general thought is that it's impossible to really effectively camouflage yourself at ranges airsoft take place at (apart from full ghillie youtube headshot compilation most painful airsoft experience ever??? folk), so might as well look rad
It's not really about being completely hidden, but being harder to notice.
Well it's all still in earth-tones, between that shit and my M81Sorry, Kali woodland uniform. That is, when I don't get sweaty like a pig and throw the jacket off to just run T-shirt.
What size pouch and what model SMG? This is relevant to my interests.
yo, can anyone help me choose between getting an SSG24 or an upgraded VSR-10? tryna weigh up the pros and cons but i haven't had much experience handling either weapon, only from what i've seen written around. money isn't an issue for this project, though if anyone has any other recommendations for decent spring snipers i'm open to em
The SSG24 isn't bad, but it's definitely got the Novritsch tax on it. Last time I checked they asked over €600 for it, way more than it's worth. I would suggest building your own rifle using a VSR-10. It'll cost you a lot less and an upgraded VSR will outperform an SSG24 consistently.
More than anything I would suggest loaning a sniper's rifle to play with, or even just shoot it at some targets. Many people blow a lot of cash on a sniper rifle before realizing it just isn't that fun for them. This goes especially for people that just got into airsoft. If you've just got into it, don't even bother with sniper rifles.
Definitely do not get an SSG24. You can get better performance upgrading a VSR-10/BAR-10 with the same amount of money you'd spend on an SSG24. The SSG24 is way overhyped by Novritsch and his fanboys.
If money isn't an issue, I'd honestly recommend getting a TM G-Spec VSR-10, upgrading the heck out of the tightbore inner barrel, hopup, and installing a Wolverine BOLT kit with the CO2 regulator in-stock. G-Spec foam filled suppressor makes it incredibly quiet and the HPA/CO2 system will be much more powerful and consistent than any spring sniper.
If you've never done airsoft sniping before, it's incredibly frustrating and not for everyone. I'd get an ASG Sportline M40A3 Sportline just to try it sniping first before jumping in. I've got one and it's pretty much the cheapest, best performing stock spring sniper with .30g+ BBs.
i've sniped with a G&G Co2 G960 quite a few times but it's a pretty shit gun, inconsistent hop, feeding issues and the mags are a pain in the ass to recharge; have had it serviced to little effect; just wanna go with a spring sniper so i don't have to worry about dealing with the inconsistency of gas, and while HPA might be effective it doesn't sit well with my loadout choice being the lightest, simplest kit possible
I know of two fields around my area that allow for semi locked DMRs, 500 FPS with .20s - same as bolt actions.

Boofpistol. Dismounted stock and rails to cut a pound off the total weight.
I'm not sure why this thread disappeared. Here's an attempt to bump it so it might show up in general. Otherwise I have to make a new thread I suppose.
How do I get started modding guns? Mine has been sitting still for too long
Modding in terms of internally upgrading or customizing externals?
