I'm actually kinda pissed I missed this thread entirely up until this point because it might just be because it's in the middle of the night and so everything is weird but I actually shed a tear or two at some of the stuff that was said in this, and laughed my ass off at all the others. Even with all the varying degrees of edgy teenager, the shitposting, the dictatorial mods, the weird new newpunch layout and rules, and all the dumb shit we get caught up in, Facepunch is still one of the best communities I've ever been a part of and I'm sure will be a part of. If I played god and could change a single thing about the community, I'm not sure I would. We've all grown as people here, the shitposts never stop being entertaining shitposts, the mods are benevolent dictators (I'm looking at you @Hezzy , that video really showed to me how you are really are just a regular guy with a lot of shit on his plate, and sometimes you're unreasonable and sometimes not, just as anyone, I'm just glad you're still dedicated to us), the forum needed a changeup, and we're all prone to doing dumb things. It's a community, and as someone who grew up with not a lot of friends living in a small town in Wisocnsin, I'm glad I had you guys as a backup and glad I had people to backup. It was one of the worse periods of my life to be permabanned for some dumb political shit and not be able to shitpost with the rest of you here. It's why I'm a damn dirty blue now and proud of it.
