No it's not, github mobile is awful. You have to jump through hoops to see the repo's code. Request desktop site every time.

Their implementation of a mobile interface is sane, doesn't mean their UX is actually capable. If all I'm doing is browsing issues, I stick to mobile. But litterally everything else sucks. Can't even get a releases button on mobile

How about that thread creation limit that was proposed months ago? No sane person would create more than like 4 threads per hour.

Heck, even once per hour. I can't really think of any edge case where that would cause any real issues.

To add to this, levels to allow more thread creation per hour/day. Just in case someone got multiple bugs / news to report.

Or be able to buy with coins how much pages your thread can have.

i think the subforums should be genres and subgenres rather than game series and/or publishers/developers.

So has it been for sure 100% finalized until the end of time that we will never again have animated background avatars? I'm never going to set an actual avatar, so having more chances to express stuff on the left there (in a regulated way that is) would still be amazing.

The general consensus was that nobody liked animated backgrounds because it was very easy to make them too distracting as they do take up a large portion of the screen. One day I'll have enough coins to make my avatar the max size, which I'm pretty sure was the size of the background iirc

Animated backgrounds just use so much data that I would rather not eat up half of my allowance when using fp on mobile

Any animated background I made was smaller than some users static backgrounds after I played with compression. Is there even a file size limit on the backgrounds right now?

I've got a pretty beefy connection and unlimited data, but tbh Facepunch loads so much slower than most sites I go on to begin with that animated stuff would just thrash it more.

I don't think the loading issues are actually a bandwidth one. It seems to be something script-related. Even on multiprocess Firefox, the site seems to freeze anything script-related on other pages for like 5-10 seconds when loading a page and cpu usage skyrockets quite a bit during that time.

I’m gonna try to shoehorn some relevance into this post by saying that it’d be really nice if thread creation could become available on smartphones? Depends on the phone, there's a glitch with the styles and it doesn't appear properly. The button does work however

I scaled up my phone's DPI until the mobile site stopped triggering for me
