It probably has something to do with Midway being the publisher, which is now part of Warner Bros.
Stuff like that is the reason why Microsoft doesn't release as many Original Xbox games for the Xbone as often as 360 games.
The most I've seen is them finally renewing the trademark for Blinx. Even then it was only for the first one.
Now we'll be able to play the best Fallout game. Brotherhood of Steel.
Can't wait to relive my nostalgia in Midtown Madness 3
And probably be greatly disappointed
thats a weird way to say fallout tactics.
Yeah, games like Mercenaries play like ass on PS2, but work just fine on Xbox.

Also it's worth noting that we've had a far more compatible Xbox emulator that's been in development for years, but it doesn't get much attention because it requires a real Xbox bootrom to use.
Ideally, most if not all of the work going into Cxbx-R (which used parts of XQEMU) should just be put into XQEMU itself but sadly that's not happening. It kinda sucks.
I've been using Project Cartographer and it works damn well. It even has working multiplayer (no co-op though).
xqemu is the entire first part of the video, though...
It's almost kind of unbelievable that the PS2 version is the same game I used to spend countless hours as a kid, like damn the framerate and texture differences are very prominent, it almost makes it look like the PS2 version is an unfinished beta. I know the Xbox always had more power behind it but it's easy to forget how big the gap is sometimes compared to the PS2.

oh shit I skipped through it
sorry, though it's still worth talking about
Just the thought of being able to play games like Spartan Total Warrior and Metal Arms: Glitch in the System again makes me happy.
Its really sad we don't see games like them anymore in the mainstream.
This might be the most padded out and distended video I've seen
Also, Mercenaries on xbox supports widescreen no problem, while the PS2 version doesn't support it at all.
But metal arms was on ps2 already.
Right, but i’ve had really strange framerate/vsync issues with that.
Xbox version having better graphics etc.
