I'm surprised how popular Pokemon is still among younger kids (though not as popular as it was mid 90's/early 2000's). A lot of the primary school kids I've looked after seem to really like Eevee and it's evolutions for some reason.
Is there even anything similar to Pokemon today? At least in the past you've had Neopets and Digimon to compete with.
Friendly rival? I can't believe that they neutered DICKS.
Also this is a much better trailer than what they showed off before.
Yokai Watch blew up hard in Japan.
I remember Yokai being a bit popular in Aus and then dying off and I also see a few toy fad wannabe animes being broadcasted on TV. None of them really stick around but for some reason Pokemon and Yugioh seem to live on.
Eevee is like a cat-dog hybrid, so it's no wonder why it's popular.
