No Man's Sky Next Trailer (Full Multiplayer Update)

I remember when on release day people were still wondering if there was actual multiplayer online and all the vague responses. What a disaster that was, but I guess it's finally arrived.
I really do think the terrible launch was the fault of both sides. Sony's fault for driving the hype with their marketing and probably being responsible for rushing the game out the door, Hello's fault for maybe biting off more than they could chew in the allotted time, as well as Sean being a fair bit too optimistic.
Still, the fact that Hello has stuck with this game instead or running off with the money or abandoning it due to massive negative reception is something to be respected. Even if NEXT doesn't hit the mark, I'll still have respect for Hello sticking with their guns and actually working to improve the game and add more content. The fact that they're doing this, and release all these updates for free with no strings attached is something to be commended and applauded in an industry where every large game is trying to nickel and dime you.
However, I'll definitely be waiting the update out before jumping on board. If it's received well, then I guess I'll finally be buying this game.
It wasn't just Sony. Sure, Sony might of fucked them, but Sony and flooding didn't force them to lie to people.
It's good to see them making up for it though.

I couldn't here the audio, but the way the trailer cut between shots reminded me of the original trailer. Glad to hear I'm not the only one...
One thing that really bothered me about no mans sky is the way the asteroids popped in in space looked really bad. It felt like they were only a couple hundred yards infront of you and there was no sign of them existing past that even though basically all the space between planets in that game is asteroids.

I'm sorta tempted to buy it and try it out during the weekend, but 55 euros is a p fucking steep asking price
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a sale on Tuesday when the update hits.
This fuckin game, I'm tellin ya. I reinstalled it since I haven't played it since launch, for only 3 hours, because I was bored out of my skull. I start a new file and pick survival mode because, maybe it'll be more engaging. This asshole game spawned me on harsh frozen planet where I freeze to death in about 2 minutes so I have to rushing to get anything done. They also spawned my ship over 10 minutes away from my starting location.
In regards to how the game looks... It doesn't look any different from launch. The planet looked just a bad as I remember them looking. The randomly generated wildlife look just as retarded as they did at launch. I even got some of those obviously what should be quadruped animals walking on two legs.
The inventory management in this game is still just as terrible as it was at launch and have to click/press and hold for every interaction is just shit.
The game starts in windowed mode because I have the NERVE to have an ultrawide monitor and it wouldn't go fullscreen without restarting which is annoying as fuck.
All in all I'm still not happy I paid full price for this game and I honestly don't see this update improving things enough to change my mind and I would still recommend avoiding this game at all costs.
I still see absolutely nothing of interest in the trailer
they're still showing only idle cinematic shots without revealing actual gameplay as they always have
that shit never gets me hyped and it shouldn't get you hyped either
Someone got it early and is posting footage on the sub reddit.

Some leaked footage from the XBone version. Shows off third person cam, some revamped UI, station changes and character customization. Neat stuff.

Bought it on launch, hated it, I was disappointed as fuck (Also I could not refund it because I bought a collectors editon which was also delivered almost a year AFTER the steam key was sent out)
I reinstalled it last year after some major updates rolled in and I must say, I llike it a lot now.
I have to say I really like the look of the 3rd person view here. Normally I prefer 1st person due to usually being more immersive or just more comfortable to play on PC but the way it is here definitely looks nice. The lushness of that planet too gives me hope things would be more pleasant to look at and explore
Cool is there still no gameplay?

This is honestly looking really good. My expectations are still tempered, but I'm definitely checking this out as soon as the update hits GOG
the Steam Version added workshop support for bases last update IIRC.
Do we know what time exactly this update is dropping? Or is it midnight local?
I don't think steam does local releases.
Updates and releases are controlled by the developers/publishers these days.
True, but it's universal, I don't think they can set it per region.
could be wrong.
people are saying 9 AM EST but idk where theyre getting that from
Co-op is only 4 players, but you can have up to 16 in a single instance.
Not at launch.
