Cinematography looks great
She just looks so damn happy to be there that I'm excited against my better judgement.
I'm weirdly so happy that we're getting another northern Doctor. I've missed Eccleston.
I hope it's good, not holding my breath but if positive reviews start coming out I'll happily jump back on the Doctor Who train
I think the gender swap is really odd but at the same time it almost feels like it could be the perfect 'rebirth' of the series if they really change things up Having ditched a certain idiot, I hope this can feel like a brand new start for the series not seen since Chris
it doesn't look awful
Fucking hell I'm digging her enthusiasm and fun-loving attitude. That's what makes The Doctor so fun and engaging, the fact that they're always so giddy about what's going on. Legit so keen for this series now. Haven't been interested in this show in ages so I'm excited.
I like how it looks a bit more serious than recent Doctor Who stuff. Levity is good and you can't take things too seriously, but the constant 'jokes' and the Doctor not giving a shit constantly really neutered the threat of any of the bad guys.
Cautiously Optimistic about this, With the Moffat gone hopefully there won't be a lot of buildup for nothing. I kinda gave up on Dr Who after it became the Clara show featuring the Doctor running off screen to do something interesting also there's a guy who has PTSD from killing a child in Iraq but he's a school teacher for some reason?
Didn't know that was such an unusual thing in society.
it more the fact he killed a kid and has PTSD from it but chose to work around kids which came off to me as kinda weird and not well thought out to me.
Seems reasonable to me, If I felt (emotionally) responsible for killing a child then maybe doing my best to help children from then on would be a form of catharsis.
