Teen Titans Go to the Movies mid credit tease the Original Teen Titans HD

For the longest time, I thought that the Teen Titans were all original characters made for the cartoon show, except Robin. It blew my mind when I found out they were actual comic book superheroes.
my point exactly
Cartoon Network absolutely fucked PPG and I couldn't imagine what would of happened if they got their hands on Samurai Jack. Adult Swim should handle all new revivals
Theres still something about the cartoon versions of the characters that make it hard for me to associate them with the other versions, and i dont know what it is.
Even though they're all DC characters, Batman is indirectly alluded to, and the Doom Patrol is directly shown, my brain still doesnt go "thats a DC comics thing" when i look at it.
I also have a hard time seeing it as DC or even comic book related. They really took the property and made it their own, with the decision to fuse western & japanese cartoon styles.
Because of this, I also can't disassociate it from HiHi Puffy Amiymi.
And for good reason, I loved their music's inclusion.

The thing is that the Cartoon continuity of Teen Titans was not only arguably more mainstream than the comics versions, the comic team has rotated members time and time again and the cartoon condensed or rewrote a hell of a lot of stuff. Deathstroke had to be censored and so they used his real name of Slade, and Terra was a fan favorite woobie for the cartoon but in the comics she was a completely unsympathetic and batshit insane killer that had to be stopped. Go! was actually more faithful to the comic perceptions of everyone that isn't the main Teen Titans, albeit as faithful as you can get as a 100% comedy shitfest - and because of that, the old cartoon fans were flabbergasted and at times completely confused beyond Go!'s controversy.
Also there were times that Go! took potshots at the old fans too, like the episode that fakes out about Slade returning just to bait in older viewers that might be interested (to the point of the episode being named after Slade for extra bait and switch), and then spends the rest of the episode using an evil clown as a metaphor about how things you liked as a kid won't appeal to you when you get older so you should shut up and not try to ruin things for everyone else just to make it appeal to you.
Wasn't Terra so batshit insane that even Deathstroke was scared of her?
Because of the way his brain is structured DeathStroke is physically unable to be afraid, the only person he actually feels tense or uneasy around is Wonder Woman, for the same reason Batman does; she has literally no weaknesses other than mind control.
