The worst ones are when you have earbuds that are designed with a retractable cable that works by pulling on it. I've never used that feature intentionally, only when it gets snagged on a wider variety of things than regular earbuds (cause now there's a weight in the middle of the cord). If you're lucky, it'll only get ripped out of your ears. If not, it'll unplug itself from the phone and chin you with a fast moving chunk of plastic. Worst $5 I've ever spent.

Usually for my headphones I just use the official Iphone ones. Though I do very rarely end up getting snagged on the door and that's a bitch when it happens.
