You obviously haven't watched Sam since the beginning like most of us. Hell I even saw one of his stand-ups live back in 2013.
Like I said in another thread: Being at fault for every massacre from 2014-2018 takes its toll.
the funniest part about world peace to me is that it actually got on TV
Ok? I know full well that I had been at the very least aware of him since 2013 at the earliest, and was a full on fan around that same time. I only just started to hate him when World Peace aired and it he showed his true colours. I honestly shouldn't have been so naive though and cast off his attitude as satire, because looking back, it's been clear since the beginning that he was a shithead.
I was a sam hyde fan before it was cool.
And you're still one long after it's acceptable. Congrats?
What makes it funny to me is the fact that the ridiculous background imagery is played straight, if it wasn’t there’d be nothing funny about the sketch. Like, that sketch looked like something from an alternate universe, to me it looked exactly like what you say it isn’t - a straight faced video from an alternate white supremacist universe that showcases how silly their self-image is.
To be honest, either Sam’s making fun of white supremacists here, or he himself is a white supremacist and that video showcases how dumb he is with the humour being unintended.
Coming into this thread with no knowledge of World Peace or MDE, I genuinely thought this was a satire skit about something no one could possibly actually believe.
I think everyone in this thread who likes Sam Hyde's early stuff but doesn't like how he's become should listen to Cum Town

Yeah wtf, everyone knows only Wafflemonstr's strict extremely left view is the only acceptable way of thinking. Do NOT stray from that.
It was never cool lmao
Oh lol this was trending #12 in the UK
I believe in racial equality and still laugh at race jokes within the right context and Sam Hyde occasionally. Please call me a nazi.
No, that's wrongthink, comedy is not supposed to be offensive ever.
historical revisionism, everyone loved An Inconvenient Anime and the TED talk
Thinking that the use of appallingly ignorant white nationalist talking points, and using an incredibly sexist 'metaphor' as the moral of the skit is grounds for someone to be shunned is now "extreme left"?
Get a grip, fucking hell
I can usually see the humour in Sam Hyde's race-baiting bullshit, even if I personally don't find it funny. I literally grew up on primarily comedy shows, including South Park; I'm no stranger to offensive humour.
My point was that this skit was pretty blatantly his attempt at getting legit white nationalist propaganda onto mainstream TV. At least the majority of his other deplorable shit was subtle to a point, and had at least some humour to it. I'd honestly like someone to explain the humour in this skit to me, because it is impressively unfunny, especially by Sam's standards.
That was the point of the entire TV show, and consequently why it got cancelled. This was just the most blatant.
That's what cracks me up about all the neo-nazis that bend over backwards trying to spin its cancellation on Tim Heidecker or some grander conspiracy(the milliondollarextreme subreddit for example). The show was fucked, and if I were Adult Swim, I'd have been pissed if I poured money into something that should have been incredible(given how genuinely talented MDE is in terms of Comedy, or at least was anyway). They're lucky Adult Swim even let them get as far as they did.
Oh you thought that was a dream?
