As much as that would be cool, DBZ fighterZ is doing well and that would compete.
Buts where's Shrek at.
Isn't Goku just a Japanese bastardisaztion of Wukong?
At this point the game should be called "Smash M.U.G.E.N."
KUNG FU MAN KICKS HIS WAY IN.
Nah, cause Sakurai still has standards regarding keeping the franchise focused on Nintendo - unlike all the people who want him to waste a slot on a certain anime character.
Waluigi is an anime character?
Also I really love how much content Ultimate has, it feels like a game that actually would be worth 60 dollars.
I'm blown away on how Konami let Nintendo go crazy with Simon. They went full force with him: Dracula added as a full on boss, Dracula's Castle looks amazing with all the classic monsters, 34 fucking music tracks and they're all amazing picks (sad there's no Reincarnated Soul or New Messiah), Richter as the Echo, Alucard as an Assist, Kid Dracula makes a cameo of all things.
King K. Rool is amazing! He has moveset from all of it's appearance: Crown Throw from DKC1, Blunderbass from DKC2 (it can shoot the ball and suck up things like in the fight), Helipack from DKC3, Boxing Glove and Final Smash from 64, Belly Coutner seems to be from DK: King of Swing/Jungle Climber (Jungle Climber in the DS was fantastic). His reveal was fucking hilarious in the fact that Sakurai is making fun of leakers.
Speaking of, I was speaking about this with some irl friends, and one mentioned Sakurai had once mentioned there was a third party that was being a bit difficult to work with. With Konami going nuts with the music back catalog along with letting Snake back in, making Bomberman an assist, and two fighters from Castlevania, while Square only surrenders two direct rips from VII, I still wonder if people think it's Konami that is troubling to work with.
I'M FREAKIN OUT
Dude Sakurai is killing it. This is a game for gamers, not corporations.
My favorite part about Simon is how authentic they made his walking animations look. The Simon strut is i c o n i c.

It's funny, all K. Rool's trailer did for me is make me excited for Dedede..
And thus Simon's quest to find the nearest lavatory in Transylvania starts once again
Basically, yes. Sun Wukong is Son Goku in Japanese (presumably by virtue of some Asiatic regions translating it to Sun Gokong), which is also the origin of SonSon. It's not even like Dragon Ball came up with the name.
