there are pretty constant efforts to actively exclude known zoophiles from the community, actually. its something most furries (those that do more than just post smut together on discord/telegram) are pretty against, and there are often inquiries on what is acceptable for feral art (usually: if the character is sentient you're fine, if it's not cut that shit out)
people give the community lots of crap and at this point it's not something most care about. i didn't get involved locally until recently and i was pleasantly surprised at what i found. when you get down to it, it's mostly a queer and party culture that happens to really like anthropomorphic stuff haha.
it helps that lately we've gotten positive coverage for working so hard to absolutely exclude and cut off alt-right furries, along with the whole rising fame of someone like sonicfox (who is honestly such a gem of a person ngl)
Furrymap shows only like 5-6 people in this dumb ass country so the extermination should be easy.
