I don't even know who this person is, I just thought it was funny that he clearly searched her Twitter for something to be outraged by and that was the best he could do. Also context exists and matters.
we need more all male cartoons, because they are massively underrepresented in media , p much 1 to 100 just look at video games, 99% woman protagonists, even though all women are literally trash and they should all basically die
I didn't skim through her Twitter looking for something to get mad about. I was already very familiar with her garbage opinions and her body of work; trust me, neither is worth defending. She's like the Lena Dunham of comic books. The fact that people like Kate Leth are blindly defended and propped up as examples of "talented female content creators" (despite all the abhorrent shit she's said and all the mediocre shit she's made) is the exact reason why so many people roll their eyes whenever a show like this is announced.
That's usually the case. And it's a trend I've seen in a lot of Western animator drama on twitter. They are quick to cover the their co-workers from any sort of criticism, regardless of how harmless it is, but will quickly make the critiques and even insults to the work of people they don't care about. I say this as a filthy, bleeding-heart, socialist lib, that they are quick to shit on work made by people they don't agree with. And not just that, but also anything that features content that goes against their world-view regardless of how apolitical it is like rugged, white male protagonists, attractive and sexy women, violence, etc.
