Now I need a old rusty gun to try this.
I'm kinda sad we did the blasting job on the Auto-5 now.
I need to get me a lever action, they're so cool.
That rust conversion is outstanding. I need to keep that in mind.
44mag.com is going out of business early next year. Everything is severely reduced in price. Except ammo. I'm picking up 5 M&P mags for $12 each. Normally they are $45-$55 each. M14 mags, Ar15, and even some AUG mags are there.
Argh fuck I only have like $100 in the bank. I wanna pick up a few 20rders.
Fun fact, we might buy the domain off them :P

Hey, Jimmy, shop question. Is $12 per mag roughly the shop rate when it buys more stock from the distribution center?
Can anyone give me recommendations for a first IWB holster for a roughly 5'11" 150lb twig to carry a G17 or G26 (both Gen 4)? Bonus points if it can accommodate both. Looking at G-Code Incog, TXC X1 Ally, Raven Concealment Phantom, JM Custom Kydex AIWB, and Tier 1 Concealment AGIS.
I don't have the income to try them all at the moment, but I would like to know where to start to get a good idea of what I want in the future. I usually carry my G17 w/ TLR1s at 3 o'clock OWB in a Bravo Concealment BCA, but am considering switching to appendix once I get my CHP in the mail and get the chance to practice it and see how I fare.
Recently sold all my other carry handguns to standardize on Glock so I can actually get better with those instead of switching between Sig, HK, Beretta, and Glock. I've actually put some decent groups downrange since I stopped switched between hammer-fired and striker-fired.
Glock 26 IWB Holster
I have the Cloak 2.0 for my P250, and it is amazing. Apparently they make a Shape Shift series now that can accommodate similar body styles, which sounds like it should solve your 2 gun issue.
If you're referring to magazine cost for us from the distributors no, in fact most magazines cost a lot more than that. Things like PMAGs and those ETS clear Glock mags are exceptions.
As an example factory standard capacity Glock mags usually cost me about $22, so we sell them for $29.
Almost all factory Sig mags cost me $32, so I mark them up to $39 to 44.99
Some mags are crazy expensive cost wise, such as FNAR mags or Browning BAR mags. In those cases I usually just apply a 30% markup.
In general we make about $10 on a mag, with some being a little more and a few being a lot less. PMAGs are one where we don't make a lot of money at all, with gen3 PMAGs costing me about $9ish or so and selling them for $12.99
If I had to come up with a regular cost per mag it would more than likely be about $20 to $25.
Wow, thats some slim margins, even for accessories. 44mag really does not want to auction off whatever is left in inventory then. I can see the larger mark up for mags that aren't bought as often or as popular. Suprised that the Pmags don't net you much of a return. This is probably why I see so many pmag bundles. Trying to increase return by lumping several of them together or with ammo.
I appreciate it, but I’m trying to stay away from “backed” holsters. They're pretty specific to 4-5 o’clock and I’m not a fan of carrying that way. I spend a lot of time in the car or at a storefront and don’t like things on my back other than spare magazines at my 8-9 or 10-11 o’clock.
When comfort is a priority, I’ll just carry A G43 IWB or the G26/G17 OWB if my IWB holster isn’t super comfy.
They also offer appendix carry holsters, as well as a bunch of other variants. The company is worth buying from.
dang. they had great deals on their AUG mags.
Get the Glock, it's had its issues ironed out and it works. Your other options are the XDs, S&W shield 2.0, and the bigger Glock 26.
Sig 365's, even after the 3rd iteration are still suspect. I get the feeling that the gun will be pulled from production soon if it keeps having parts breakage issues.
I was looking at the P365 for concealed carry as well, but we get enough people making complaints about their build quality and selling them back at a loss that it put me off from wanting to rely on one.
I went for the G26. And my mother has a G43 I can carry if need be before I decide to buy my own.
I’ll miss my P938 though, that little thing was pretty sweet.
I love this suppressor! I can hear the trigger spring breaking as I pulled it.

Mags came in, and was just as advertised. No packaging, not even a plastic wrap. Just tossed in USPS bag. Worth it.
My Saiga came in and I have all the parts for the conversion. But there is good news and bad news.

The bullet guide is welded.. so that means the AK specialized gun smith won't be able to do the conversion.. THE GOOD NEWS is that there is a smith closer to me that said he doesn't need to take the barrel off to do the conversion and told me he knows for sure that he can do it. Bad part about this though is I have to wait until Jan. 1st but that is well worth it considering it's going to someone who knows what they're doing.
Wishing you all a silent night

Not sure if my polymer80 G19 is not compatible or if I just don't know how to properly use a holster but it doesn't seem to work
What'd yall get?
I got a box of .308, a box of .30-06 and some Tech Sights and a case for my 10/22 takedown.

So I finally got around to making the suppressed Coonan Video, figured I'd let you guys get a sneak peak of the whole thing before I set it live on the interwebs.
You need a better mic. The gun sounds the same suppressed and unsuppressed.
I actually did use another mic, the problem is the recording program I was using didn't have a way to control the threshold so it basically peaked for the entire recording and sounded like shit. So I defaulted to the camera mic.
Good to see you got it working. Looks like a blast to shoot.
