Now you just need the suit to reach peak aesthetic. https://www.history.com/.image/t_share/MTU3ODc3NjU2NzU2NDk2MDk1/secret-service-communicates-during-reagan-assassination-attempt.jpg
I need to do this once I get around to converting my Sa vz. 26 parts kit into a semi. Granted, I have way more mags than I know what to do, compared to what's in your box.
Speaking of Uzis, I picked up one of the Apex part kits they had on sale last week. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109816/09e05930-037a-437a-97b6-9a09722003a0/IMG_20190326_163914_217.jpg Another project on top of my ongoing AKM build.

Looks good, I like that you already got a mag holder. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the build
Wellp looks like I'm committed to the A2. Soon as the shipment clears customs (Which is apparently anytime in the 1-6 months lol) he's already got his distribution guy hooking me up with one. I won't pay until it's actually on order from distribution proper but it's basically good as a done deal can be.
God I want to start a gun collection but being in the UK makes that difficult to say the least. At least I can pretend with H3VR.
relocate to a free country
I'm afraid any of you who were looking at getting an Australian made F90 are now shit out of luck. They've apparently decided to halt civilian sales.
don't want anything from a company who would make that decision anyway.
Just saw the makers of the Hudson H9 filed for chapter 7........That didn't take long. I'm really glad I didn't buy into the hype the more I looked at that thing the worse it looked Weird ass integral safety 1911 trigger abomination? yup it's got that More expensive at release than most proven handgun designs/A majority of entry level 3 gun/competition glock builds? yup check Aftermarket support for basically anything? uhhhh does it look like a bastardized 1911 part? no? good luck non-removable frame weight/recoil spring thing that doesn't actually function as a frame weight, and is the same size as a light/laser without being a light or laser? yuppp Rail on the bottom of the aforementioned frame weight chimera in case you really want to shoot your dick off because NO ONE MAKES LIGHT/LASER BEARING HOLSTERS FOR IT? ........ of course it's got one.... Also how in the blue fuck are you supposed to actually activate a light/laser without a remote pressure switch? On the plus side KE arms is gonna try and be good guy greg and actually sell replacement parts/help with warranty work since they basically manufactured the whole pistol.
NEED HUDSON PARTS? KE Arms Has You Covered
I still think the H9 is a great concept and would like to see it somehow survive. Maybe someone will buy the rights to it and pick up production.
I got paid with a gun for IT work today. Old friend's friend owns a gunstore in a town about an hour or so from here and got a ransomware infection on his store computer. I was going to invoice him $200 because it was honestly a pretty quick job sans the drive, one of those "FBI" ransomwares that doesn't encrypt luckily. Instead he says if I'm cool with the background check he'd rather pay me with a gun. So I wasn't super fussed about it, most guns are worth more than I was asking so alright. I'm now the owner of an Anderson Arms am-15. So welcome to the AR-15 club I guess?
https://www.nraila.org/articles/20190329/breaking-federal-court-finds-california-magazine-ban-violates-the-second-amendment What timeline are we living in again?
calgunners discord is going fuckin wild lol first store to start shipping 30rd mags to CA is gonna be both rich and out of stock
Don't worry, the 9th Circuit will make sure to tell gun owners what horrible murderers they are like they always do when they strike this decision down. The SCOTUS is going to have to grow a fucking spine at some point and start hearing gun cases again.
me, i can finally buy those $2 G3 mags
Took a family photo of the Glocks: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132536/9d2998a5-aecc-40ab-ac1a-ca06fe1cafcb/IMG_20190329_213601.jpg From top to bottom, all Gen 4: 40, 35, 22, and a 19. The G40 is an absolute unit of a pistol. Heavy and chunky. Looking to get a Vortex Venom for it. The 22 and 35 were LEO trade-ins.
I see you are a man of culture as well
gen 1, 2, and 5 are the only ones i care about. whoever decided on finger grooves is a moron
bubba no
Lone Wolf or Brownells replacement frame? Also, gross, .40 cal...
Can't complain about the price. And since it's same sizes as 9mm so I could convert them. Looking to pick up a Gen5 34 MOS though. Hopefully they have removed that dumb cut out in the magwell. Along with a Flux brace and flux light. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5b68a2bc5b409ba1a88463ce/5b68b1f8f950b7dc20da5436/5c69a1406e9a7f0b4e32e54b/1550426435989/ANGLE2_FLUXLIGHTMAG_PATENTPENDING+%281+of+1%29.jpg?format=1500w
So I'm going to finally pull the trigger (heh) and get my Massachusetts gun license. Now we are a no fun AWB state so what are some surplus rifles that are fun and won't break the bank? (Not a Mosin)
classic firearms has jianshi type 56s in stock. they should be legal being that they're c&r guns, so unless type 56 or sks is explicitly on a no go list then I think you're good. jgsales also has a pretty good run of czech mausers right now, those are definitely good to go.
I got a wild hair up my ass and decided I'm going to build up my Glock 26 into a blaster. Going to take it to a local gunsmith and mill it for a Triji RMR and forward set irons. Going to get a hold of a Gen 4 G19 frame and chop the grip to 26 length. Then put my 26 slide on it, get a threaded barrel, and add a Parker Mountain Machine compensator. That way with the comp, it should add up to the same length as a 19, or just a hair longer with the comp recessed above the dust cover. Like this guy, but a little black glock: http://www.parkermountainmachine.com/uploads/4/3/2/7/43273505/s977620473547721020_p396_i9_w640.jpeg is that stupid? I kinda feel stupid for liking it and wanting to spend upwards of four digits on a glock.
I mean I'm sure there are people out there who know more than I do about race-guns and could likely give you suggestions on better mods or ways of going about it. Ultimately it is your money, your gun, and your time. Do what you want and do what makes you enjoy the gun more. Guns are kinda a money sink anyway. There are a lot of race guns out there that I really like, but I cannot really justify spending spending thousands on a pistol when I don't really race or go to the range all that often anymore. I might I would build one as a project, but prolly over time.
I'm thinking of building a Glock racegun myself, except on the cheap. I was thinking a second hand Glock 19, new threaded barrel, compensator, combination thumb rest and optics mount, a red dot of some sort and a stiffer spring to shoot IPSC major with. I'm hopeing I can do it for sub A$1500. I have an itch to shoot IPSC major. It's either that or a 1911 in 357SIG to shoot classic division.
I thought about making a "race gun" out of a G17 last year. I never did anything to it other than sights when it became my carry gun for work. Still outshot it with my 26 for some reason even with equal amounts of time on them, so I transitioned to that and ditched the 17. It's not for competition, but for carry and just for the experience of doing it, anyway.
