Lets fight, since Anakin vs Obi Wan is just bombastic as hell.
It was to show her he was a force user, they had only talked once before this (according to the book), this was to show her he means business.
Why do you so blindly defend star wars, and even content from the prequels? Are you just trying to be a persecuted contrarian?
No where in that post was I defending?
Because most people have no idea what they are talking about and make assumptions on a franchise they don't watch or know anything about and use RLM as a be all end all of their star Wars knowledge.

Star Wars is making me hate RLM.
I like RLM, but their fanbase is fucking abysmal.
HAHA HEHE ME CLAP WHEN SEE LIKE THE SAD BEER MAN SAY
ETERNAL GARBAGE HAHA FUNNI REFERENCE TO VHS BOYS
When they endlessly reference RLM, it's like they don't realize how ironic that they've become what they "champion" against.

Got the emotional range of a stale saltine cracker.
I remember some years ago going to a local Symphony concert where they were going play music from movies and I noticed they were doing a Star Wars Episode I medley and I recalled thinking “of all the episodes, why that one?” And then they got to Duel of the Fates and I understood why.
Didnt say what he said wasnt factual, just pointing out the addition of Maul was dumb and no matter what evidence provided for that reason, its still dumb. Just asking why Tuskin leads the Prequel Defense Force so avidly.
I hate the prequels
That's me tho
Prequels are bad. Stuff around it like The Clone Wars show is great.
Yeah this is what I meant. I don't like the movies, but I love the era, the games, the comics, books tv shows etc.
She is lying to him and he knows it. He just found out that one of his key traffickers is dead and she "had nothing to do with it" (she mentions she wasn't there which is a lie). That's why he
laughs, intimidates with the light saber, and says he'll be keeping a much closer eye on her.
No wonder Han dumped her.
But can Maul really be considered intimidating? Even if he has the high ground, which we know is the canonical path to victory, it's also canon that the way to defeat him is to simply jump over his head. He'll just stand there looking dumbfounded while you kill him.
This is very true. But can Daenerys jump such a height?
So hate the fanbase then, not RLM. Even RLM shits on that portion of the fanbase that does that.
Does she need to be that clever about it? Maul seems like the type of guy who'd fall for the old "make it shiny with Woodoo hide" trick.
Although I wouldn't argue that this is wrong, I've always been partial to the song that plays when Han Solo flies through the asteroid field. Don't know the name of that track.
[sp]in before someone says it's just called the asteroid field or something boring like that [/sp]
Honestly I would be intimidated if a former assassin that was light years away threatened me with his lightsaber, considering he's spent his whole life travelling light years to kill people with his lightsaber.
