not like that's a bad thing It's a mod so I don't expect a lot of changes honestly
Would be interesting to put the settlement system in rebuilding Nipton.

i gave you a diamond you can perch on the fingers you want everyone to kiss
I mean I honestly noticed right away that his head looked pretty small. It seems like the modders are taking this job seriously, but to be honest the visual improvement is fairly small.
loving the approach man! keep it up.
It's not super impressive visually but I'm looking forward to moving from 3/NV's gameplay jank to 4's gameplay jank
I would rather they have waited until there was something more polished / substantial to show off. The VA and animation work is great, but other than there really wasn't anything impressive about showing off a small interior.
I dunno, just seeing that classic ui and new animated pipboy level icons made me happy. I do want to see how they handle the look of the outside world though.
Plus, knowing how restrictive the systems in Fallout 4 are towards certain kinds of modding, they've worked goddamn miracles here. I was waiting for one of two things to happen when it ended, though: them going outside, or them pulling up the Pipboy.
Need to have a %chance of Doc going full Exorcist on ya, just like he sometimes did on launch back in 2010.
I don't know if it's a good idea to do a full 1:1 "port" of the game, dialogue and all: It feels kind of strange hearing the new Doc talk the same exact lines with a very slightly different voice, I feel they could've changed the lines slightly, let the voice actor do some slight improv to make it sound more natural, maybe?

I hardly think it's fair to criticize a character for not having as large a head as they did in a Gamebryo game.
If we released nothing people will say we're dead, despite the weekly updates we post. Considering how much work was put into just this "small interior" I hope it gives you an idea that we aren't skimping out on the details.
i dunno man, considering this is the absolute first thing anyone has ever seen when starting up new vegas, i think it's pretty important to show that they're getting it right. most of the people who are really waiting for this mod should be extremely familiar with this scene, and showing the effort they've put into this scene is a good way to win people's interest
Plus it shows off so much more than a "small interior". The vigor tester, the reflecotron, the stats and traits page. There was an incredible amount of work put into that just "small interior".
There's a distinct lack of haziness to the house, no god rays coming in through the windows either, I think that's the main thing I'm seeing here, also I hope they get rid of that animation at the start with him helping you up and it being in third person, it looks out of place to me. Looking pretty good so far though.
i get that it's a WIP but i do think they should have worked on the textures/models of this section a bit more for the video. they are fairly low res and ugly looking. other than that, given how janky the creation kit is from personal use from skyrim to fallout 4, I'm impressed.
