They fucking took it down lmao
Capcom took down the video
I would love the shit out of this same idea but done with The Black Dahlia Murder, hearing Trevor sing about demons and how they deserve to be cut apart by a better demon would basically be what they already do. They even already have a song about Castlevania (featuring a guitar solo mimicking bits of Bloody Tears) so it wouldn't really be odd for them.
Holy shit. So they actually might change it.
Bring Back Shootie
I think the only thing more annoying than the song itself is Cody's response to the criticism, you made the actual worst hack n slash fight theme ever get over yourself.
They took down the video lol
This whole thing is embarrassing. They chose a band that was considered shitty in their own genre, a band that was controversial, then had a composer who had no idea what they were doing? How did this happen? Like who greenlit this song? Like why the fuck would you choose Suicide Silence, a band that not only doesn't fit, but isn't even really... popular? Like did they choose a composer that really, really had a hardon for Suicide Silence and went full steam ahead with a song that no one put in the ok for?

They removed "foul-mouthed" from the description to pretend that they didn't write the song for the wrong Dante.
Alright this dude is a cunt
That is fucking incredible.
I still think it should be better than just "Serviceable". This is likely the last dmc we'll see in a long time, Dante deserves the best theme.
The song isn't even mixed well, this feels like they just let the dude do his own thing for no reason
For 2 years at that.
Capcom.
I'm starting to, for the first time, seriously worry about Devil May Cry 5 ending up a shitty game entirely because of Capcom's mindblowing incompetence. Like there's only so much Itsuno can do, Capcom could end up completely sinking this game with executive meddling.
I'll just wait for Little V to fix it

The game seems to play very well based on hands on demos, and iirc they've had pretty much free reign. In this case it seems more the incompetency was from a lack of oversight on this composer.
People who claim to be at TGS right now said that the trailer already has subhuman removed and replaced by a loop of Devil Trigger.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xijp25tzUqA They showed a new cut of the Nero trailer with Subhuman removed from Dante's clip. There might be or might have been another trailer for Dante, but we'll wait and see.
Like, how could anyone at Capcom hear this and be like "This is alright, we can work with this." I'm glad they seem to be going back and will try to make something different, but with how soon the game is coming out I hope they can make something really good in so little time.
Maybe it's something they neglected before, but now with such a hard backlash on it, they're giving it more attention and actually getting a quality track for it.
It's just mind boggling how the team went from having a banger like Devil Trigger and at the same time having this on their planned soundtrack Though at least they are taking notice of the fact and will likely change it
*bad music stops*
I mean, people really didn't like Devil Trigger at first. Then with the memes popping up views changed.
I didn't like Devil Trigger at first but listening to it didn't make it hurt to exist
Devil bringer is definitely an acquired taste, but this? This is tasteless.
