No we haven't. It is possible that is the result, but it is not something you are able to pull off reliably. You have not read what we have said if this is your take away. This is why I keep saying you're being dishonest. These two points are not connected. You insist they are, but they are not connected. You have not demonstrated how they are connected. I agree there needs to be regulation around guns, but i disagree with your idea of what that standard is because that standard is more dangerous than you realize. You do not seem to realize why it is dangerous, and we have explained this numerous, numerous times. You do not care, or read. That's fine. This is an absurd reshuffling of every argument ever made in this thread against you. Ideally, if someone is using a gun in self defence, they are doing so to survive. They do not have the time, or the ability to suddenly apply empathy at that time. At that time, it is life or death. You have argued that life or death means use non lethal force, which I do not think you understand the severity of the situations you are talking about. The standard is to shoot centre mass until the target is not a threat. You have implied this means "magdumping" or "executions", which we have emphatically stated it does not. You do not read, you do not care. You ask for the impossible, and get mad when it's told to you that you are misinformed. You double down. You don't read. You don't look at data that's presented to you. You ignore anything, and everything. You clearly care as you have spent 24 pages failing to absorb even one piece of information.
I think the most pathetic thing here is youre trying to twist a rational argument against recklessness into an argument for gun control. This is genuinely sad, man. Just come out and say your gun control policies. Quit trying to justify it with illogical arguments. This is by far the most pathetic attempt I've seen from your ilk.
I love how the pro-gun side is arguing for not using a gun at all because "Treat them as lethal always", and the anti-gun side is arguing to... use them "non-lethally"
When you put it like that, yeah holy shit.
Thinking about it too, it could be because actual trained gun owners would know things that many anti-gun people may not. When it comes to handling and possessing a firearm that is.
It's almost as if most of the pro gun people are ACTUAL RESPONSIBLE GUN OWNERS who vouch constantly for RESPONSIBLE USE OF FIREARMS
Can someone tl;dr 25 pages for me

I like how every thread in Facepunch that involves an incident with a gun, it usually will reach a point where it has enough pages to be converted into bullets for a standard 30-round AR-15 magazine, like poetry
Please don’t take don’t get me wrong here, but there kind of is a market for destructive devices for people who are really into NFA items. You can legally own an RPG7, or an M203, M79 or pretty much any other explosive launcher. It just requires the $200 for the weapon itself + $200 tax stamps for any explosive projectiles per unit. Although I think it’s more economical/popular to use dummy rounds, flares, or smoke rounds since those are actually feasible to make yourself without tons of paperwork. For example, my local dealer has an M203 FOR SALE, and an RPG7 on display. They also have rare gems like the FG42 and Stoner 63. Another place nearby had a freakin cannon.
Oh for sure, i'm not denying that, but the idea of "guns are dangerous and we should have "higher standards" but also people should just HAVE rocket launchers" is omega retarded. Also man, i'd love to visit your local dealer
Out of curiosity have you ever 1)fired a gun? 2) been in a danger or intensely tense situation? If the answers yes you'd realize how hard it is to be accurate with a pistol. You'd also realize its even harder to do it in a dynamic scenario where you are moving, and shifting your position with a moving target as well. You'd also realize what adrenaline does to your hands and motor skills. You'd also realize that under stress you'll always fall back to your best training. Thats why police and military do stress shoot training, but they're trying to train themselves to be accurate enough to hit center mass. Think about that. Hundreds of hours goes into being trained to be accurate under stress, and the best measurement of precision is to just simply hit center mass. That should give you an idea of how hard it can be to be accurate under stress.
Do you draw pregnant elves u thought i was kidding didnt u cyke
lmao fuck off, dude.
Yeah no one advocated that its always fun when some posters literally hallucinate shit to get mad at
Did you even read this dumpster fire of a thread?
”act like” is that hat all you have as evidence of anything
It's not even about the "possibility" It's about "always treating a gun as a lethal weapon", it's always been about this. Never treat it as a non-lethal, ever, because it isn't one. The odds aren't a factor here.
thank you for shitposting by claiming you won't shitpost anymore
