Well, since it is built on an AR frame, all you'd have to do is slot in the relevant parts. Get a low profile folding or telescoping stock...

Then for a hand guard, the lightest one on the market that I;m aware of is the brigand arms blade made from braids of carbon fiber

That being said: while I'm enough of a risk taker to okay a polymer lower, I would not want a polymer upper getting anywhere near my cheek so I'd definitely swap that out.
How about 5 pounds, 2.9 ounces (2.35kg) for a better rifle with an optic?

This whole process was really fascinating to watch and I highly recommend checking out the whole series if you have the time and interest in lightweight guns.
The CAV-15 is probably the best polymer lower out there. The problem with the majority of polymer lower designs is people think they can just take the design of a standard aluminum lower and cast/print it in plastic, the CAV on the other hand actually takes into account the nature of the material they're using. Polymer lowers have a tendency to snap at the grip and stock because those parts are where the receiver is thinnest, and they're screwed in so the threads are a serious weak point, put substantial torque on the joint and the threads strip, the CAV fixes this by being monolithic, having the stock and grip integrated. Of course it's also possible to deal with these problems by putting in metal reinforcements that make up just the threads and the pinholes, but that adds weight.

This for example is the reinforcement of a MEAN hybrid-15 lower, just the screwthreads and pinholes, on the full lower this is encased in polymer so you can't even see it.
The Peacemaker has to be one of the american prettiest guns ever created

Looks risky, but we don't really know the briefing of this training. Maybe they're training entering and pulling back while delivering fire? It looks incompetent, but then again SOBR has won the Annual Warrior Competition, competing against different special forces like the Canadian special forces regiment and the US MARSOC.
If it looks stupid, but it's effective, then it isn't stupid.
Russian Spetsnaz are known for their, shall we say cavalier, attitude towards collateral damage.
Just for some examples, there was the Moscow Theater incident of 02 where Chechen terrorists barricaded themselves inside a theater with hostages, the Russian forces responded by gassing the place, at the end of the day over 100 civilians were killed and literally everyone involved was injured. Two years later there was the Beslan school massacre where the Russian 58th Army responded to another terrorist group barricaded inside a school by firing thermobaric rockets into the building before busting through the doors with T-72 tanks, the terrorists attempted to flee by using the hostages as human shields, only for the Russain forces to shoot the hostages; in total 334 civilians were admittedly killed (possibly more) and once again everyone involved was injured.
The Theater incident was an actual tragedy that was damn near a success. The terrorists involved in the incident knew exactly what they were doing, and wired themselves and hostages with explosives complete with dead man's switches, and executed multiple hostages. The gas the special forces poured in was an experimental sleeping gas which would cause death if not treated in time, and there simply wasn't enough time to create and distribute enough of the antidote to save lives, especially when victims started being taken to every hospital in the area instead of one centralized location.
I've yet to hear from a single person any sort of plausible alternative strategy for the scenario at hand, and its worth mentioning that there were 40-60 terrorists and 850 hostages.
As terribly as both situations were handled in respects to the hostages, those are both cases with extreme danger to the hostages. In the Beslan school siege, the terrorists had suicide belts and explosives wired to dead man's switches. They had little regard for the well-being of hostages, and had already executed 20 on the first day. Over 160 hostages died after a dead man's switch went off on the third day, burning down the gymnasium. The FSB was supported by poorly trained conscripts, who fired wildly at any sign of the terrorists. According to surviving hostages, many hostages were moved to stand in front of the windows during the assault. As far as hostage situations go, this one was completely fucked. The siege lasted 3 days, and fighting went on for 12 hours. The terrorists weren't willing to surrender, and the government was willing to give in to their demands.
The Beslan school siege was also the last of a long series of terrorist attacks and hostage crises. The government was determined to put an end to it, by any means necessary.
The Moscow theater hostage crisis was a bit different. The terrorists didn't come to kill hostages or to kill soldiers. Their demands were the same as the group that attacked the Beslan school a few years later, and there was no way the government would give in. There wasn't a way to solve this without violence, as the group had demonstrated they weren't afraid to kill hostages or soldiers. A conventional attack would result in catastrophic casualties on soldiers as well as hostages. Explosives had been placed, and several terrorists wore a suicide belt. Using a chemical agent could've resulted in far fewer casualties, but they fucked up by not disclosing the chemical they used. Had they prepared to treat the hostages, very few of them would've died. That's the main reason this hostage crisis was resolved poorly.

I love the juxtapose between the peaceful video footage vs the dramatic narrator at the start
Its like you can just imagine the reaction to a hostage call coming in.
USA: GEAR UP, GET THE ROBOT AND THE ENTIRE FORCE DOWN THERE
Russia: Ok Ivan, time to get APC out we need to level building.
I'm very concerned that they're implying the naked guy in the cell is one of the people who suited up.

FAB Cobra Glock Stock looks weird
You underestimate gun owners with tax returns.
That thing looks like it flexes like crazy. They made one about a decade earlier and it also flexed a lot. It's just a bad design from a statics standpoint.
I have no idea how they managed to trick the ATF into declaring that not a stock, I do rather like the idea of spring loaded telescoping though.
When these "stabilizing braces" came out they at least tried to make it look like they were genuinely for something other than a stock that you hold against your cheek by making them function as arm straps

A questionable use case in its own right, but potentially useful for firing one handed. Now these newer ones are pretty clearly just short stocks that have a disclaimer saying "do not shoulder."
