Remember folks, tucked pants; tight groupings
The first dude looks like Edmure Tully.
I never get tired of that pic with the two dudes breaching a building because M81 Woodland + rolled sleeves = porn.
So just to clarify on that village burning pic earlier- some anon on /k/ dumped photos of his dad during Operation Snowcap in 1987- their job was to "assist and advise" the local Bolivian government in it's narco interdiction operations.
This assistance included destroying drug making facilities, which were basically village huts, and blowing up runways used to fly the drugs out.

Yeah, there definitely were some differences between early woodland and late/post cold war woodland.

Woodland is such a good look, whether it's early/mid 80s with the M1 and A1 or very late 80s/early 90s with the PASGT and A2s. My living history group does 1980s US Army, and we switch out the M1 and PASGT helmets for different events depending on what look we want.
It's disappointing how so few people recognize the look, though. People see M1 helmets and M16A1s and just assume you're vietnam era US troops.
Man, looking at those oldschool photos reminds me how much about the Army has changed over the past 20 years.
Still, guarantee you half of those guys in the photos were either hungover, having their cars repossessed or going through a divorce. Some things are a constant.
And now a quick reminder of how hilariously low Canadian M203s sit

It's like a full two inches below how a 'regular' M203 fits.
Jesus, how much does that thing weight? Fifteen pounds?
And just 'cause I finally fucking found a picture of one, Humvee in Danish service

Nicknamed the Jülkat, which is Bornholmish (dialect from easternmost island of Denmark, practically Swedish) for hedgehog. Looks 100% mad max.
That thing is badass where can I buy one.

In light of what's going down in the UK, now is probably a good time to buy AR18 parts before the demand for them increases...

I always loved the look of these things, that charging handle and the lower receiver in particular. It's like a bizarro world gun, similar to something much more common but not quite.
How I feel looking at that:

that thing wouldn't last against a fleet of toyota hilux's that it could have paid for and you know it.
Actually, despite its poor reputation, the Bradley in combat has done remarkably well. In the Gulf War the Iraqis only took out 3 of them, while the Bradleys actually destroyed more Iraqi tanks than the Abrams did. By the time the US pulled out of Iraq, less than 200 Bradleys were destroyed out of several thousand.
