This is was not needed at ALL.
Hope we get some good memes tho
I've tried reverse image search on multiple sites, looked through both gelbooru and e621, and I couldn't find anything. This is what artists need to sign their stuff!
there's a distinct chance that, if it was a tumblr, the artist deleted themselves from the internet
I love that character
Why is this bad boi not in SFM yet?
I had this commissioned a few months back, one of my favourite pictures of my husky character.

Artist is Relevancy
That's what I'm afraid of. I'm too scared to look through furaffinity.
@Riley the red panda in your background is super cute! is he your fursona?
Yeah, he's my fursona c: got a fair bit of art of him over the last few years, though these are my favourites

fursonas feel too much like an RP thing for me
cant folk just be themselves?
My character reflects most key features of myself though
lazy, bad eyes, go away, fat, blue
super cute! would you mind posting the full ver of your background btw?
It's just fun to have a character to represent yourself as, you don't necessarily have to RP with it
if you want artwork drawn of imaginary situations, of any kind, you're not going to want your IRL face plastered on it
that's like asking "why isn't your facepunch name your real name?"; you want the anonymity and the customization to express yourself beyond birth-factors you had nothing to do with
there's nothing wrong with a little fantasy
maybe its just the stigmas of all the horrible ones coloring my perspective
still, dont really see the appeal
like its an anime avatar v2.0
I also thought having a fursona is pretty weird, but bitches explanation convinced me otherwise. I personally don't have a fursona because I'm pretty happy with who I am, but I'd never ask someone to draw me because I don't find myself appealing.
Others might have very similar feelings to that, with the extra feeling of developing an interesting OC character.
then again this all hinges on if you consider there to be a difference between a character and a sona
Eh for some there's some arbitrary difference. For me its w/e, don't see a difference between sona and character. My sona name of Lorne is just a wolf representation of my actual self. Not some other personality I have.
As bitches said, there's some anonymity involved and a tinge of fantasy hurt no one.
To me it's like you're drawing yourself all the time, so I'd rather have a character be their own person—this is just one way of looking at it tho'
I don't consider myself to be a furry and just like cartoon animal art tbh.
As I understand it a fursona is a character that is meant to have (at some of) your own traits imposed on it while a regular character is just, y'know, a character?
I've always been specific about defining furries simply as fans of anthro, as anything more just serves to generalize the fandom further; see "furries are people who dress up in animal costumes".
