I can totally understand why they did this shit though, they know its CoD so its going to sell millions regardless of if you mess up the advertising or not
Is this the moment I realise that I no longer fit the desirable demographic?
Self-deprecating humor works I suppose but didn't they do this already in 2011 with the "Pro vs Noob" shtick ? It's almost like they're trying to re-capture the spirit of the MW3 release.
Hmm I wonder why you conveniently left out WW2. 🤔 'Call of Duty
Or maybe the graphs were created before WWII's release? 🤔
Obviously, the point is he used an outdated graph disingenuously.
Or maybe I couldn't find an updated graph? Let me find one. There isn't some secret evil motive here, I just don't give enough a shit about CoD to know every title by name http://www.statista.com/graphic/1/321374/global-all-time-unit-sales-call-of-duty-games.jpg And looking at your own source For those looking for a more historical perspective, WWII might have beat the sales of Infinite Warfare, but it still fell short of 2015’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III. That game boasted sales of $550 million in three days. and Polygon said the game is “in an enjoyable but unremarkable rut. We’ve been here. We’ve done all of this. Changing the time period so dramatically only helps to highlight how little has changed since the franchise’s total reimagining with Call of Duty 4. For those who enjoy the series, it’s nice to have a predictable source of entertainment each year. But for people looking for the next generation of shooters, Call of Duty simply isn’t offering it anymore.”
Holy shit, I thought MW3 did shit. I always thought mw2 sold the most.
I think I'm bleeding.
