we'll all just have to go home and individually wash our penises
I don't like their "listen and believe" stuff.
Companies now have to keep their doors for their employees open whenever a man and woman talk with each other. If it's a private conversation there has to be a third person (woman) being in the room as well. There is a lot of fear for the upper management of simply being falsely accused and losing their jobs and career and so there is for the smaller guys. I heard stories of men leaving a lift when a woman enters it if they are both alone, fearing consequences. Workplaces have become a lot more tense thanks to what feminists have achieved.
They are also not truly fighting for the same rights for both men and women. They actively leave out protective rights (like for sexual abuse) for men while enforcing them for women. It's too one-sided to me.
anyway thanks dude gonna take a vodka tampon up my ass to this later, big ups bro
Even by Prager U standards is this is a laughably bad video. It's just some fiction author ranting about feminism making extraordinary claim after extraordinary claim with no sources or citations.
It didn't say this. I actually hate pragerU but all it said was that women can be CEOs if they want but there is nothing wrong with accepting the differences between men and women along with some Christian progoganda mixed in since they are a religious institution. Men and women are different and think different and because of that will tend to excel or want to do different things (that is there choice) and that is completely ok, after all it has worked for the last few hundred million years.
We could literally replace this whole summary with "why can't we just go back to the good old days when men were men and women were sex cooks who did the laundry."
What does that have to do with feminism? Just because feminism has empowered women and men to speak out about sexual crimes doesn't mean that feminism is causing men to be more cautious of being falsely accused. Honestly I think it goes both ways, Women are also wary of how men perceive them and are for sure worried about being provocative in a business setting. But really it's simple, don't do bad shit and don't say creepy shit and you'll be fine. I work with guys all the time and they definitely aren't worried about me accusing them of anything because they can recognize the pretty obvious boundaries.
Feminism as an ideology doesn't try to promote women to a higher status than men it merely advocates for a level playing field and equal expectations of the genders. In-fact there are feminists who fight for men's rights as well as women's because ultimately it's about equality and men are definitely harmed by gender expectations as well. There are also radical feminists who blame men for everything and preach about dismantling the patriarchy; You could just look at them and paint the entire movement in a negative light, or you could consider feminism from its many other facets and form a (hopefully) positive opinion.
It literally didn't say that. It even specifically says it's alright for women to be CEOs. I know you just want to circle jerk about how dumb the conservative group is but you should at least try to understand what it's saying.
Fucking lol I love the lies these Christian Fundamentalist fuckwits spoit about traditional biblical marriage.
Guess what assholes, traditional biblical marriage was a man + however many wives he wanted + his concubines. This fact should really fucking enter into the zeitgeist soon.
I don't care if someone has a different opinion than me, but this PragerU propaganda crap really pisses me off. All it does is further divide everyone on issues we should be ok with openly discussing, but it makes it harder to have
those discussions. They present their opinions like they're fact, but they know what they're doing. It's propoganda and propoganda is not what we need.
The overwhelming majority of feminists are opposed to anyone having to sign up for selective service.
Also claiming that having to fill out a piece of paper and get a bit more junk mail than normal is significantly hurting men is kind of petty.
I was curious about this because I had never seen it either and I can't actually find a single feminist or feminist group that supports the selective service being male only. The largest feminist PAC in the United States opposes a draft but says that if it must exist it must apply to all genders.
I'm not a feminist, this just took 5 minutes and Google.
At some point people started confusing SJWs with Feminists. Actual feminism is a good and fair thing. Probably where all this confusion about the draft came from.
Imagine listening to a man who thinks ancient egyptians discovered DNA when they were praising gods that rubbed cum on cabbage to get back at eachother for being gay.
Hi, Im a feminist who believes in mens rights, ask me anything.
im not sure if you just by chance dont have any good people near you or just arent looking around properly, but I would argue actually that most feminists (that arent the keyboard warrior type) are supportive of men as well.
I feel that SJW, Feminist, and Liberal have all become buzzwords that have somehow become synonymous for any far right reaching people. Around my university the young republicans group had posters with the header "Feminism is cancer" and some text about checking out Milo.
That is the single most ironic thing I've ever read.
I could've sworn the last time I brought up how it wasn't fair to blame feminists on men's issues here I was heavily opposed, a lot of the responses were about how bulk of feminism doesn't care about men's issues so it was fair to paint them all with a broad brush and they were very approved. Not that much of an issue but after reading the latest posts in this thread I just felt confused.
Feminism in the academic sense is supposed be the entire process of choosing to support all the issues equally. What the modern internet discourse of feminism has become is a very far cry from that in many instances, good or ill.

Are you serious? Do you know what the Selective Services mean? How do you have anyone agreeing with you? Being forced to go to war DOES hurt men. It isn't petty to think it's unfair that simply based on the genitals you were born with millions of men were forced to conscript. Going "Well neither side should do it" isn't a good argument when there is little push to do away with it either from feminists. You can't say they are for equality and then make excuses for why they aren't actually for the examples given that would make both genders equal.
If this were true then MRA wouldn't be treated like NeoNazis and the enemy of feminists. Also there is very few actual discussion by large groups about mens issues as far as inequality. Even if there are feminists that do believe in true equality it's clear they make the total minority and you can't say otherwise if male issues are treated no where nearly as important as female issues.
I mean - it's a bit misleading to call it propaganda. That's like claiming that anything that is editorialized is propaganda. Propaganda, in my eyes, is quite a strong word and I use it very carefully in that respect.
But, I understand the critique. PragerU is a bit of a cesspool because it appeals to the lowest common denominator of those who are anti-left, and is essentially the mirror image. of those they oppose. Andrew is a pretty funny guy, from what I've seen of him, but this video is pretty in line with most of the anti-feminist reaction videos; it's void of much substance.
yeah keep taking those redpills
The last draft in the US ended in 1973, that's 45 years ago, and about 30 years before most MRAs were born.
Personally, I intentionally listen to people I disagree with to create a better understanding of their political mentality and my own political identity.
I WANT to listen to people that disagree with me
but then there are people who straight up speak in silver-tongued lies and buzzwords. They have literally no interest in actual discussion or facts, it goes even further beyond the "Their interpretation" that I find acceptable.
