i love the jank, it was good because it actually allowed you to be pretty consistent with killing fp/sc.
kf2 is basically just unloading your guns and hoping you dont run out of ammo. A lot of games have been classics or jank has benefited them, kf1 was one of those.
Scrakes don't automatically aggro though? They still work exactly the same they did in KF1: Slow until they take enough damage causing them to rage. (Scaling up from 50% hp to 90% on HoE)
Also while this is a personal preference, Hans is a *much* better boss than KF2 Patty ever was. If anything, Patty is the terrible boss while Hans is one of the better ones.
Nah, it's still perfectly possible to consistently kill FPs/SCs if you actually know how to do the combos, particularly as Support/Sharpie. KF2 just traded the jank with functional hitboxes and zeds who sprint rush you and thereby making pulling those combos off require more coordinated trash killing effort.
Also SC/FPs don't aggro automatically anymore, it's just that the increased chaos of the game just made it much more easy to accidentally piss them off.
I wish there was a way to disable the fugly cosmetics in the game.

KF1 Scrakes used to be a little easier to manage though. When it would rage, the scrake would target the player who caused him to rage. So you could be a bit more strategic with who and when you made the scrake rage. Now, if its on your ass and a dumbass teammate shoots him enough to reach rage condition, then you are fucked. Can't redirect the aggro as much in KF2.
yeah, but like everything can kill a scrake nowadays.
AK12, and SCAR can down a scrake before you even have to reload, SWAT can just flash bang, and then mag dump, Scrakes take x100 damage from explosive impacts, so an RPG to the head will almost always 1 shot them.
Also don't forget how much sharp and support absolutely trivialize them.
I thought Scrakes were resistant to explosives? At least thats how it was on KF1

Scrakes resist explosives, but they're vulnerable to impact damage from the rpg and m79.
A demo with all left skills, and an RPG to the head will do just enough damage to down a 6p Scrake
I thought they were only vulnerable to the rpg7 impact. Theres a specific x4 damage multiplayer for rpg7 impacts vs scrakes.
ah right, my bad. They're vulnerable to the RPG impact by 400%, but they take full damage from any explosive impact.
yeah fought it then too, at least then it was like $5 for 4 characters now it's $10 for one, sometimes not even a real character just expensive cosmetics to make you look like a character from KF1
weren't they like 99p a pack when they introduced them and for a good while afterwards
All the original character packs were $4.99, but often went on sale for $0.99, although they did say the sales ended up costing them more than they gained due to both steam's cuts, and credit card processing fees.
