Is there a way to view all my followed threads, so that I can unfollow them?
Because Hezzy took a users suggestion (rename the GTA subforum to Rockstar Games), and garry undid that, cause he has a hateboner for broad subforums (which we could have had more of if garry hadn't intervened.
Because Garry doesn't listen to the community manager or users one tiny bit, and Hezzy is more of a figurehead. Garry does what Garry wants, and Hezzy is there to try and maintain morale and order.
perhaps there are people that want to see red dead contend but not gtav content?
um gmod will have a new update for 2019?
then just dont go into gta threads then?
a rockstar subforum is going to have more longevity and use than a gta or red dead one separately
with that mentality the entire sub forum system and its filters are pointless
no? the point should be to have subforums are broad-enough to attract enough activity, and focused enough to not allow everything in. Having a dedicated Rockstar subforum achieves this far better than specific subforums for specific games.
Been using SwiftKey for almost eight years, it's really nice
when is the smiley menu going to come back
This is why I have immense respect and sympathy for Hezzy and feel especially bad when people vent their frustration at him.
Yep, I'm still around, although, I don't post as frequently. Though I think you're putting far, far too much weight into my posts there. Yep former mod, Yep battled and still battling Depression.
far too relatable
it still gets better though
good on you for sticking around
This functionality will be added eventually, conservatively I estimate it to be released on 3rd May 2021.
We've previously discussed the concept of a "user hub" where all your followed threads will be shown in one place.
Broad subforums don't really work; have a look at my last few posts in the Subforum Change thread. You'd have to tag every thread with [RDR2] or something like that. What's the point when you can just create a new subforum for this? We'll eventually look at ways people can customise their front screen, linking in with the "user hub" function above
Gboard is the best keyboard IMO
Hey man, good to see you again!
too many typos, so much easier to make mistakes on gboard
I can do 60wpm with a 98% accuracy with swiftkey, which is 150% the average mobile typing speed
we had them for like five minutes, give me a break. I've demonstrated with statistics why the ultraspecific ones don't.
Finally, a deadline. See you in May 2021 then, and if popular threads still isn't there then..wtf
Is anyone working on droidpunch? It has a lot of issues (can't upload images, it posts bb code instead of displaying it, you can't navigate others' profiles, etc.). It's easier to access the site through a browser than that app.
Facepunch Droid isn't created or maintained by anyone on the FP team so you'd be better off asking in Facepunch Droid V2 or contacting @tisseman890
Looks like the notifications/event log/account drop down menus not autoclosing bug got fixed. Just noticed today, wanted to say thanks!
the filters on the event log are still broken so 🤷♀️
Today, it seems browsing to https://forum.facepunch.com/f/fpcat returns a "Server Error in '/' Application."-page
Did some change break this substitute for a "popular threads" list?
sweet baby jesus I thought I was having a stroke with these wild thread title sizes

It does in fact seem like it
Did the hiding of threads from child forums break for anyone else? I've got it set to hide but i'm still seeing shit from other sections. Tried turning it off and on again.
This isn't really worth a thread by itself so I'm posting it here.

This... looks weird.
So to summarize the changes, we can no longer filter individual subforums, only whether we want to see all or none of them in the main category.
Which doesn't work now, setting it to hide does nothing.
