I can't really know what'd work for you but what I did to procrastinate less was to make a list of things that I want to do, then after classifying them by length and decomposing them into their smaller components I made a daily schedule and allocated times to certain broad topics. As an example I put 1 hour of learning japanese but in the hour block I complete concrete tasks such as "learn the a, k, s, t hiragana columns". Additionaly, if something comes to my mind that would distract me like a question or some task like checking some twitter I write it down in my notebook which I check when I'm free to do anything and I immediately go back to my task.

The one time in a long time that I forget to check the date on food that I purchased ends up with me buying a pack of hot dogs that are two weeks past the sell by date. It sucks as it's too late to try and return them and even if it wasn't it's a pain in the ass. As a result dinner is just fresh cut fries..........
my eyes have seen the perfect thicc girl who do i need to sell my kidney to have her as my gf

Watching tv shows made between 2000 and 2010 is an interesting experience. Watch an old episode of a tv show made between those years and see how they act without smartphones, internet or how they dress. Is such a different time but it was so close at the same time. I genuinely can't remember a world without internet.
THE BIG SPOOK DAY IS UPON US, PREPARE THYNESELVES
I was born in 88, and I remember not having internet access for quite some time as a child. Same goes for cell phones, they were not nearly as ubiquitous as they are now, and most of them were brick-sized with pull out antennas. Quite a few people I knew didn't even have a home PC at first, the market was still quite different back then. I remember going to a nearby Gateway store (when those were a thing) to pick out a replacement machine for our ancient IBM. Back then it was honestly a huge purchase to make, it's crazy to see how different the PC market is now (and how the DIY options have evolved).
wow i almost forgot about this place
mood today after seeing the medievil trailer https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/237960/ff164fa1-3c39-45e9-acb4-7e06e2d02e4c/1431321460_6511.gif
Yeah. If I go back to the past and remember previous events, I can recall seeing cellphones the size of a dildo. VHS players or a SNES connected to a tube/analog? tv. Now those things are gone or they evolved into something else, such as dvd or bluray players. I'm not feeling nostalgia... I can't quite put it into words. Let's say I catch a glimpse of Law & Order. I see characters that deal with police and legal duties, that's a theme that seems untouchable by time. But the technology on display, such as stores selling tv's, houses without flatscreen tv's, great audio equipement or the information access provided by the internet makes me realize how much things have changed for the better, yet I know I lived on that moment of history. What's left of it? Recordings of old shows, pictures I can find browsing family photos, ads from ancient magazines. The things we saw as new and improved became obsolete in a short amount of time, what will happen with the technology of today in less than 10 years?
Ah fuck it's only Wednesday
