Unpopular Opinions V. FP should go down more often

Nonetheless I'm a little irritated by the general hostility against the mere existence of digital card games. You may criticize the monetization but at least look at the game itself.
what? i'm not hostile against digital card games existing, i feel like you completely misunderstood what that (rhetorical) question was getting at
The Uncharted games are meh.
No, actual number is around $300+
https://www.pcgamer.com/how-much-will-it-really-cost-to-build-an-artifact-collection/
Players are starting to report their pack opening statistics on Reddit, and it looks like $300 gets you comfortably to a full collection. You will of course have plenty of extra copies to sell, and still need to buy a few missing rares from the market, but that trade should net out.
You know, you could not support this garbage instead of gargling valve's balls. That way they can learn from their mistakes instead of using you as their personal cock sleeve to milk you dry with shit business practices.
Did you not read 4 posts up from where you quoted that? I stated that it does cost upwards to $300.
At the end of the same page I explained why I think the model is solid but I don't agree with the pricing. I won't be giving them any more money after the initial $20.
Wait until the next expanion/s hit the deck, then you need to double or triple that number!
I always roll my eyes when I hear about any "news" of competitions involving Overwatch. Who the hell could play that game competitively? The playerbase is the most butthurty/ragey thing I've ever seen (only to be rivaled by Counter-Suck: Source or Counter-Strike: Global Offended) and that game's balance is all over the damn place. I react the same way with Team Fortress 2, because of it's christawful hit-detection.
Headphone jack on the top of your phone>>>>>>>>headphone jack on the bottom of your phone
Seriously how do you even use your phone properly with headphones on if the headphone jack is on the bottom of your phone
Paranoia over smart locks is emotional. You don't even have an alarm if someone threw a rock through your window, let alone picked the locks. If they're smart enough to get in unnoticed, they're going to do so regardless of your locks. You're not that important.
you should unironically get help
You might find this read interesting: https://www.onefpa.org/journal/Pages/OCT17-Why-We-Hate-Rich-People.aspx
It doesn't defend the rich, but it might explain your resentment against them.
I wish I was rich
While murder is never acceptable, I do agree with his sentiment on corporations
So, what your saying is, you wouldn't murder Hitler to prevent his reign of terror...
I kid, I'm kidding.
I only ever used headphones with my phone when listening to music or podcasts with my phone in my pocket. My phone sits upside-down in my pocket so when I pull it out it's right-side-up. Having the headphone jack on the top of the phone would be terrible for that.
That's just my use-case though. And now my phone doesn't even have a headphone jack...
Now that you mention it didn't be basically describe the plot of Fight Club?
I unno there's a difference between "nuke the impure" cartoon villain and "corporations are pretty bad" cartoon villain; their post just seems like your pretty average complaint about the feeling of hopelessness in the face of the various bad things going on in the world.
I will always hate the trope where the use of violence somehow invalidates acting against whatever the antagonists are, and that the nonlethal, "peaceful" way is somehow morally superior, no matter how much less sense it makes in context. It smacks me as being both lazy and smug from that enlightened centrist sort of way.
A good example is Bioshock Infinite. Narratively, the Vox Populi are communicated to the player as just as villainous as the Founders because they use violence. Even so, despite how kill-crazy they are for basically no reason, you can tell the writers still didn't think the player would be convinced and had to make the leader want to kill out a child out of sheer, crazy bloodlust. It hardly made sense in context, and out of context, it comes across so bizarre it almost defeats the point about racism that it was trying to make because it makes the Founders look justified.
Pepsi and Coke are both equally good.
Dr Pepper for life
The best cereal commercial ever birthed into existence is this one:

I prefer Pepsi to Coke. Although I prefer Coke Zero to Pepsi Max.
i hate the phrase "on this tiny rock flying through space", not because of it's nihilism but because it's so shallow and overused. i just turn off whenever i hear it, because i know what's coming is just going to be some facile, pretentious pop philosophy
Especially since it's really downplaying the incredibly unlikely set of circumstances needed for an earth-like planet to form
The internet feels like a handful of opinions and a whole lot of fucking one-liners.
You kind of can sort of place an accent on a scream. So I've... heard.
The battlesation subreddit and the similar shit on Instagram are full of these sterile, lifeless setups that try too fucking hard. I'm convinced 95% of those people don't actually play any games. Filled with the same gamer chair, same bland white desk, and nauseating amount of RGB.
Aside from the over-dramatic tone, what was actually wrong about what he said?
burgers are not good
That form of cynicism isn't rare tho, apathy towards money and power and all - wrapping it up in mildly flowery language doesn't really make it any more "cartoon villain"-y.
