Unpopular Opinions V. FP should go down more often

It honestly seems like realistically it should be considered the same sort of concept as √-1 (i). An impossible number that could only actually be useful in specific circumstances.
n/0=0 just makes no sense due to reversing the equation resulting in 0 equaling any numbers and n/0=∞ makes no sense because you cannot split a number in infinite chunks of nothing. Both of those methods of handling simply make zero sense at all. I've never used advanced enough mathematics for it to be relevant but treating it like i would make more sense in that regard. Technically the square root of -1 (or any negative number) doesn't exist because any number multiplied by itself is always a positive. But that doesn't mean you can't theoretically perform equations using the concept of that impossible number.
Buttermilk too?
no.
I really don't get US and UK politics. What Trump does, and what Brexit did would had been completely illegal in my country, or many other countries, from misinformation, to corruption, working with enemies, and yet literally nothing is done by any of the courts or police to investigate all the issues.
I'm not saying my country is always right, we have plenty of things I disagree about, but most of the world look up to these 2 superpowers as a symbol of democracy, upholding the rule of law.
Like the amount of shit happened is pretty damn clearly illegal, but nobody involved is in jail? I understand that Trump and his pals is under investigation for Russian ties, but its taking pretty damn long, even after all the shit that he clearly has done. Why don't they freeze his role while he's being investigated? You know like how Police officers are put on unpaid leave until further notice?
Like it just baffles me.
Being able to ‘freeze’ the White House by subjecting the President to an investigation would open a pandora’s box of political abuse. Eg you might have a Democrat President who is never able to carry out their duties, as a result of being subject to a barrage of phony investigations by their political opponents. An entire branch of government would cease to function. Also, when police officers are put on unpaid leave it is usually because there is overwhelming evidence against them, but that can’t quite be said for Trump as far as we know.
All of the illegal shit that happened with Brexit has been investigated and dealt with appropriately. Yes, there’s been plenty of unsavoury shit going down, but just because people do not like it does not necessarily mean it is illegal.
Will Ferrell isn't funny
What "situations" are these? In all contexts I know of that extend arithmetic to division by zero, that's still not the case. The extended real number system adds an infinity that you can do arithmetic with, but division by 0 still isn't defined. You can sort of make it defined but it still doesn't handle 0/0. Projective geometry doesn't handle 0/0 either. Wheel theory defines 0/0 but it's basically it's own new separate element from everything else, not infinity. But wheel theory is pretty much just a meme anyway.
Not against things being popular, but I believe that the majority of all popular actors are either shit or average. Most of the time they just play the same god damn character over and over, and get paid millions of dollars for it, while greater lesser-known actors ain't getting shit.
If height is a normal preference for what people look in a person, then why is weight such a discriminatory preference? I know that there are people who have unrealistic weight preferences like supermodel skinny but somehow with huge thighs but saying that you want somebody that isn't over 100 kgs shouldn't be seen as discriminatory.
Colleges are a huge cause to this generation being fucked up financially and ideologically. Community colleges and military are more valuable out of high school.
Taquitos are disgusting. The chicken ones however are... acceptable.
I don't find fat people attractive at all, I am also a fat person and don't expect anyone to find me attractive.
It's ridiculous to expect people to be attracted to you IMO, everyone likes different things in people and you can't control who you are attracted to.
The indecisiveness on what to eat while hanging out with groups often comes from validation and fear of rejection, not conflicting tastes. Everybody knows what they want to eat, but nobody wants to admit; second-guessing what others would want to eat, saying no just to reluctantly repeat the feat.
I seem to be growing fond of those Christmas songs excluding the stuff of the 2010s.
People who shit on fortnite and call people who play it children are more annoying than geezers who think the same about every video game.
I absolutely hate beef taquitos. The chicken ones are better but I usually smother them in sour cream, salsa, guac, and cheese.
I didn't say that I expect people to be attracted to me,I just said that a weight preference shouldn't be that big of a deal. I should've said that better.
Sorry, I didn't mean you. I just meant there are people out there who think people should be attracted to them but that's not how it works.
You know that white ultra-chewy fat you see on porkchops? =D
I hate that shit.
I hate it.
Is it even unpopular in the slightest to say I believe that O.J. Simpson definitely killed Nicole Brown Simpson? Or is that the general view?
Oh it's absolutely a general consensus that he killed his wife. Guy spent all of his money on a mastermind legal team to exploit every little loophole that the prosecution tried to present against him, so he was declared not guilty by circumstance.
never has an instrument more worthy of hate been devised than the fucking xylophone that plays in every generic Facebook video's music
The word "toxic" in relation to behavior, communities or discussions like "this game has a toxic community" is a fucking stupid word and the people who use it are also stupid. It very obviously has no clear definition, yet it still places the user of the word on a pedestal as though they're a victim of shitty behavior. I've seen so many wildly varying definitions on the word: Ive seen a guy say that saying "gg" at the end of a match is toxic because the winners are bragging and the losers lost so they obviously had a bad game. Ive seen so many people say Rainbow Six Siege has a "toxic" community yet in my 330 hours on the game I've found it to be a very helpful and funloving community with the occasional angry little man. I saw somebody claim a community was toxic and that it hated anybody who discussed differing ideology and it turns out the victim here was a neo-nazi preaching about fascism being great in a WWII game. I've also seen some people who only consider racist and/or anti-lgbt things as toxic, where apparently calling somebody a faggot is inappropriate but calling somebody a fuckface or a dipshit is the appropriate way to insult somebody.
While some of these are more extreme cases, the issue still remains on how many people just say garbage like "this chat is toxic!" and then don't clarify what the actual issue they have is. Did somebody tell you to hang yourself? Did somebody call you a faggot? Or was it when somebody said "Nice rocket" and another person followed it with "that's what your mom said" that tipped you over the edge? Use your ability to speak and articulate opinions and thoughts. If you don't define your terms, nobody knows what the actual issue you're having is, nobody can help fix it, and we'll end up with bullshit like slandering communities or people with the term "toxic" without needing to say anything more or dumb babying systems like in R6 Siege and Battlefield where random words are censored because they're mean and then it doesn't actually solve anything.
The only Zelda games that I truly LOVE are the ones on the Nintendo 64.
Creep is Radiohead's worst song
I think most radiohead fans would agree
*unchambers shotgun and puts grenades back in box* ok that's cool
I think (and kinda hope) that contact sports wont exist in 100 years. We're only really just starting to see some of the drastic effects head injuries and such on athletes and their mental well-being, and some of the stories of those affected are heartbreaking.
I think that children especially participating in contact sports is arguably unethical. There is absolutely no way that even high school students understand the implications of repeated head injury and concussions. As much as I enjoy the sport, it's sort of hard to stomach a high school football game these days. Even outside of the routine injury that happens at least once a game, there's still the smaller impacts that compound over time.
I've heard stories of contact athletes barely being able to count. It feels like, if it weren't for the safety net of being ridiculously rich, the athletes themselves have their injuries go completely unnoticed because it doesn't matter enough in the short term to cause any kind of backlash.
I think that improvements to the body armor athletes wear will be able to make contact sports safe. Disposable, crushable helmets would go a long way. The demand for these sports exists and I don't think it'll go away.
