Super unpopular opinion, I think Spider-Man 1 is one of the better superhero films, and I like origin stories. Willem Dafoe is a blast to watch play the goblin, and he did most of his own stunts. Tobey's acting is also a lot more lively in the first movie than in the sequels, and even MJ has some character development where she doesn't feel misused like she did in the sequels (even though she does some pretty questionable things) and the cheese of the movie is straight up Raimi which I'm a fan of (though this is where it looses most people i guess) Uncle Ben's death is handled beautifully and that whole segment of chasing down his killer along with the brutal end fight help contrast the more lighthearted sections really well. In fact the other thing that blows me away is just how much practical effects they used. Everything they could do practical they did - even something as simple as spiderman saving MJ at the festival, the first shot of them swinging away was done with actors on wires, when they could've easily used CGI for such a far shot - goblin glider shots up close as it flies by use props and the actor, and all the ground fights use real people - the end fight in particular in the abandoned building is one of the most brutal fights I've seen in a PG-13 movie (certainly doesn't feel PG-13) that and seeing spiderman get so demolished really sells the ending victory. I think the balancing of tone is part of what I like about the movie too - it knows when to be cheesy and when to dial it back, and I honestly think raimi gets too much flak for not understanding the character solely because he skipped over high school or didn't use web shooters. I personally enjoy SM1 a lot more than SM2 even though I understand why SM2 is a better movie and people prefer it more. I also enjoy it way more than homecoming too though I'm also probably 1 of 2 people in the world who actually prefer the change to organic web shooters (I have the same problems with web shooters in general as I do with guns in a movie - there's usually no consistency to running out of ammo and it's just used as tension device)
Japanese porn ain't that bad
This is a christian forum!
Accidental quote ignore it It's not that bad,I mean looking at it gives you eye damage but from what I've heard the interior is pretty comfy.
I had the displeasure of seeing one parked on my way home from school back in highschool. Absolutely hideous. How could someone possibly have looked at it and thought "yes, lets make that"
I see them from time to time and every time I do, I'm unsure if it was born from too much alcohol or obscene amounts of boredom.
Some artstyles look nice, but the censorship ruins it every time.
Christ porn is overrated
I think Anthem looks alright.
are you referring to hentai and other related stuff or the real people porn
Live-action Japanese porn is absolutely fucking awful. Some hentai is good. A lot of doujinshi is excellent.
Emphasis on "looks".
Visually Anthem looks really good, but that applies to pretty much anything on the Frostbite engine. I do like the Javelins and the way swinmming is just flying underwater is pretty cool. Other than that it just looks like a generic third person action game and every mention of the lore of the game has made it seem like the most cookie cutter shit ever.
"Huge open world" is an expensive, cursed arms race among AAA games to artificially inflate their scale of production.
Small/Moderately sized worlds but with quality over quantity are way better. See Gothic I&II or Morrowind. Great stuff.
I dunno about that one as an example, KC:D's countryside was just a whole lot of hills, farms and forests with not that much interesting in them.
If someone you intend to date states anything along the lines of, "Camping[or Outdoor in general] is boring!" they are not worth your time/effort. They also tend to be the folks which try to force you to give up your hobbies in order to kiss their ass.
The Witcher 3 uses its open world for world building. It's largely fields and maintained forests because that's what Europe was like in the Middle Ages, this helps contrast against the battlefields that litter the map which are filled with corpses and monsters. It's really the same thing KC:D does, but KC:D is more of a Middle Ages life sim than an action game. Also the game takes place across what was once three or so countries so there kind of has to be a lot of land to sell that idea.
It's true that in both games the map serves that purpose, but I felt like in the witcher 3 the map is just one enormous filler full of nothing, with some occasional copy-pasted villages in between, while in KCD it's been kept to a reasonable level. I assume this is because KCD is much more focused in scope, and instead of trying to represent, as you said, whole countries, it limited itself to one small region of a country (and even then, they've cut out a bit of wilderness in order to make it less empty).
“Blackface for geeks” is the most pretentious criticism I’ve heard of The Big Bang Theory. The first season is occasionally on TV, and I see fictional characters being absurd like in any sitcom; this is coming from a someone who’s into old computers and retro games.
I actually haven't of that criticism term before, and now hearing about it sounds hilarious because it sounds like an unironic version of oppressed gamers/gamers rise up
Lisa Simpson is a good character and I looked up to her a lot as a kid.
Diced pepperoni > sliced pepperoni
Lisa was a good character until they turned her into a super self-righteous caricature/how old people think millennials act.
Yeah, but all the characters got worse over time. The first 10 seasons are the ones that count.
Watching a video with the time bar thing up doesnt bother me. things like this: https://i.imgur.com/4YzDCEE.png
Not everyone is a doomsday prepper, Joey.
bad date?
Camping and outdoor stuff isn't doomsday prepping though I just like having someone who is actually willing to go on hikes and have fun sight-seeing. Nothing beats nature in terms of pure beauty.
Bob's Burgers is one of the most boring shows I've ever watched. It feels like super early Simpsons where it felt like just any of the dime-a-dozen non-animated sitcoms.
