I mean to be fair it probably didn't help when hezzy 180'd so fast from "finally you are directing your hate towards the man who actually makes the changes" to "be nice or fuck off". So it just leaves most people scratching their heads when the change of tone happens before you really comprehend it. Not to say that all responses are justified of course.
And alas I don't wanna sound like a broken record repeating what many people have said before but the people who shit these threads up are a minority. And the majority of the regulars here have stated their love for facepunch many times before. It just gets tiring having to repeat yourself and seemingly not being noticed. No one is perfect. But I'd be lying through my teeth if I said i hated this place. Facepunch holds a special place in my heart. I was just a dumb kid when I joined this place. But this sense of community is unique. Honestly the variance in responses you get from this place is the reason why I keep coming back. You go to somewhere like reddit and it's just people begging to put on a pedestal via karma. Not here though. Everyone has their place. Somedays you get dumbed. Somedays you get laughed at. But what matters deep down is that people actually take the time to read what you've wrote instead of just scanning through your comment to find the lowest hanging fruit for wacky internet points.
