He had a stream today and explained the situation. The tl;dr is basically he re-evaluated himself in the past couple days and decided he wasn't really acting like himself/being 'fake', and viewed getting his youtube banned as restarting his career. So, a few psychidelics later this whole thing happened. On the stream he established he wants basically a new generation of content from him from here on out.
Pretty interesting.

While I'm happy to know that he's at least ok, I still don't appreciate the way he went about with the 'reset'.
I appreciate that he acknowledged he fucked up. He took a pretty big step with being honest with himself and others when he mentioned his living situation. I wish him the best and hopefully he can redeem himself to those he hurt.
