[Forum] Communities that have perished since the move

As for others who witnessed the death of their communities, do you find that they died because people left? Or was it because people just stopped posting in them? Or members are overall less active?

Most of them died because the means for them to communicate were removed for some reason.

I hate to be a naysayer, but such changes have me not visiting FP as much. When I get home from work, there's p. much just 4 tabs I open; but now I find myself hesitating to click on the FP icon... Dead-horse-beating aside, I visited the Videos section religiously to find funny shit to watch on YouTube. Was great. Alas.

Discord is the final nail in the coffin for FP? Hopefully not, tho I have noticed a lot of communitys pushed out of FP. Especially with the recent "downsizing" of the forum.

I remember when mapping was a big thing on the old Facepunch with the WiP and question megathreads, now I can only find the WiP one yet I've had to search for it most of the time that I've actually used this version of the forums. Quite sad considering I spent a lot of my time there or either in the general or GMod sections.

I deleted my account because i posted some cringy stuff back in the day and no one bothered to recreate one. I'll make one again.

Also the move killed the screenshots section and i'll never shut up about it >:(
