The reason the Sam interview snippets aren't his voice, is because they're from a text-only interview. He had a sit down interview with the creator after the documentary was made

Pretty interesting watch/listen, aside from some shitty /pol/ terms being thrown around.
really wish the guy who made this didn't double down on the edgy commentary
ah yes the man behind """""""ironic""""""" masterpieces such as

Sam isn't exactly the kind of person a lot of people want to be associated with.
Are you really under the impression that all he does is innocent comedy?
dude, how long has it been?
So much for your centrism. So much for "removing yourself from the pig shit" that is political discourse. You're apolitical when it suits you, you're neutral when it makes you look better than others, but the more you post, the clearer it becomes it's just a facade for you to push reactionary narratives.
Sam Hyde has some solid comedy work, his stuff is weird and abstract, there's an ever present sense of irony that makes you wonder what, if anything, is the target of the satire. He's also a loon. Just like you have centrism to cover your anti-left hate boner, Sam has comedy that is surreal and hard to pin down as cover for his fringe politics.
Criticize anything, and people pop out of the woodwork to call you an idiot for taking a comedian seriously. The same people who look at George Carlin's anti-PC culture routine, and take it as seriously as is humanly possible. Sam Hyde's no genius, he's utterly unable to be professional, educate himself or at least, keep his lunacy in check. His bigotry works as shock value for his less radical fans, but as validation for the antisemites and racists he consistently (and intentionally) attracts. You can see it for yourself in the wayback machine for r/mde and r/milliondollarextreme.
"hahaha jokes on them i was only pretending to be racist!!!!!!"
I like a lot of their stuff but there is a clear and pretty fucking obvious message behind a lot of their content too otherwise it wouldn't ascribe to /pol's community and attract actual nazi's to support him, if he really was just using satire and irony as a way of making fun of both extremes he should probably make that clear and y'know maybe tell the nazis that follow him to fuck off
Also if your satire isn't being construed as satire or ironic then ALL of your criticism of the topic goes out the window and you come across as a supporter of the idea your trying to make fun of lmao
The last thing I watched from MDE was Sam Hyde going to a DNC convention and it seemed that the big joke was that there was a prefab word-art text calling the main speaker a "ugly stupid bitch" or
something along those lines. Comedy gold.
Lmao, embarrassing
MDE was actually really funny and they truly were pioneers in comedy, but because Sam Hyde couldn't keep his racist, homophobic and disgusting rhetoric from pouring out onto his Twitter and to some bits they had on World Peace was why they had to shut it down.
I'm a big MDE fan (chas is my favorite go subscribe to his twitch) but Sam Hyde fucked up such a potentially great comedy group by not only fucking over his chance of getting a prime-time TV show on adult swim for their edgy humor, but fucked over Charls and Nick as-well.
Sam Hyde is funny, but he's a huge scumbag and deserves whatever happens to him.
Also I think it was kind of weird and in bad taste for the documentary when they had the "Sam Hyde" interview segments with Nazi imagery and text with his voice distorted. I don't even know if that really is Sam Hyde or some kind of joke that I'm not getting.
Holy shit MDE Task-Force act like their community didn't go out and target these critics, and then when it was mentioned they're all like "Those are people from 8chan/4cahn, we don't know who those people are"
So I like World Peace, and I like some of the videos Hyde uploaded to YouTube.
YouTube showed me this video on the main page, but as soon as I heard "NPC friendly comedy" at the mark of 0:45, I paused.
It's an hour long video - is it worth it, if I mostly liked the show?
The only reason anyone thought MDE was funny in the first place was because no one imagined his sketches reflected his actual opinions
cut the crap
in your own words, everyone who isn't right of center is in an echo chamber, and the entire left is retarded and incompetent
how are you oblivious enough to think you can still come off as impartial
Pretty much. Was a fan for the longest time but it became obvious in the worst way that Hyde was off his rocker and the ship was being steered into an ugly death.
Charls' is doing his own weird shit now, which frankly is for the best, and Nick's running his Antique business. Says a lot that only Hyde doubled down on his bullshit.
