Well, I don't completely understand what you mean when you talk about setting a mem size but If that reserved chunk was big enough and you had little RAM it would make sense for windows to not boot. But with 8 GiB that doesn't really make sense.
Yes that's how iGPU RAM works, but you don't really need to allocate a large fixed amount since the driver will deal with getting more if it needs more, AFAIR.

I sometimes forget that I used to love the ever living shit out of Garfield. I pretty much have all of the comics from 78 to 2006. I honestly remember raging about the movie because of how god awful it was.
I remember watching the animated series as a kid and wondering how Garfield could talk with his mouth closed, didn't quite catch the idea behind that.

Mom went with my grandma this morning to the hospital to get grandma's biopsy results from last week. They said it's lung cancer. It hit hard.
We don't want to give up hope and we're really hoping the doctors figure out something.
