Just lost the 5th dog I've owned in life. Poor girl was only pushing 2 and had cancer. She sort of stopped eating a bit ago and wasn't as happy as she was up until then, it was oddly sudden.

I wanted kids at 26 years old when i was 12 But now that im past that age and on my last year of my 20's im just looking at the world like, "Theres a lot of kids who need parents or a person in their life who isnt a total shit." Like theres so much mental health needed in the world. Idk man..

i dont think its really maternal instincts because theres a lot of people who never get that "maternal" thing. I dont really mesh with children but they are adorable and id like to do for a child what wasnt done for me in terms of proper parenting if that makes sense?

my contract is currently slated to end earlier than originally stated due to being ahead on production for the current project.
was given a notice yesterday for end of contract next week, and my boss who works as the contact/contracting of manpower for my actual employer is angry that so many of us temp contractors are getting booted on such a short notice. it's mismanagement and he's no happy to say the least.
on the bright side, whether or not he can find something to fill in the time until actual contract end, I'll return here by new year's. so I'm pretty much guaranteed a job anyways lol
