• [Video] Portal easter egg found in CSGO battle royale

Recording a couple of notes and putting stock voice samples that we're taken from a library isn't something I would call taking a lot of effort.
Well, that's it, between this and Artifact, just gonna to use the other stores to buy any games unless its ONLY on steam. Don't need to worry about Valve games tho, they don't seem to be in the business of making good video games anymore.

Valve is not exactly known for being transparent about their intentions and labeling an ARG as an easter egg is an excellent way to keep it ambiguous.
It's amazing how Valve went from this golden child in my mind to a company that actively pisses me off when they do anything.

Same here. And I got on the Valve hype train way later than a lot of people. I first bought the Orange Box in 2011, shortly afterwards pre-ordered Portal 2, and suddenly they were my favorite developer of all time. Little did I know that it would be all downhill from there. I'm just glad I got to enjoy at least a few of the years when Valve seemingly could do no wrong. I think the original paid mods for Skyrim fiasco was the point at which it became clear to me that Valve had changed, and it would be extremely naive to continue worshiping them.
The problem is worshipping a company to begin with. I've noticed more and more people go "wow CDPR can do no wrong, Witcher 3 was amazing, can't wait for Cyberpunk" and all I'm expecting is for CDPR to do some massive fuck-up that massively sours people's opinion on them. I don't think there's a mid/large developer/publisher out there that's a saint, at all. Some have obvious issues (Valve, EA, Ubisoft), some only just finally boiling up to a massive issue (Bethesda, Blizzard)... All of this has happened before and will continue to happen. Same as it ever was.
Is anyone really surprised by this though?
not really it's just dipping a dead horse in a salt mine
