These guys helped a lot of genuinely struggling Kickstarter projects out. Along with Pat single handedly funding Warframe. They have a good legacy at least. The channel didn't sit around and deteriorate into a total shitshow. They picked a good time to call it quits, before shit got real bad.
Part of me wonders how much of this is due to all the extra shit matt was taking on. Him developing a game on the side, along with his scripted content for his own channel must have been eating into his life super hard. Working on a game is stressful business no matter your role in it after all, and I only really picked up on him checking out of LPs more as his game stuff started to gain real traction.
Pat "Single handedly funding Warframe" is just a hyperbole joke. I'm certain his involvement was not even close to 2% of the games popularity in the kickstarter days.
Oh yeah, I just like to rag on his microtransaction habits.
The real MVP for Warframe will probably always be TotalBiscuit. Though the game did super well in the early access phase.
Pat retweeted me last night, I woke up to like 700 twitter notifications. Made me happy knowing he saw somethin I made.
Personally their channel died years ago when Woolie and Liam come on board and shifted the content more towards anime and fighting games, sad to hear they feel they're no longer friends.

I wish for Woolie to become Brennan William's(Great Black Otaku/Better Wollie) hypeman in NXT so in a few years time we can watch him get mad hype on WWE shows.
This is the real reason the Zaibatsu disbanded, Woolie is getting too damn hot compared to the others.
Ideally we have a plot where Brennan Williams uses the shadow clone no jutsu to form a tag team consisting of himself and Woolie but I'll settle for Woolie handing him a steel chair at some point.
Maybe one day cage will release another experience, and the best friends will have to reunite. Maybe, maybe...

I was in the middle of rewatching the Homecoming series. Finding it hard to continue it to be honest.
honestly i just can't watch Matt & Pat/Liam & Pat videos anymore, it would feel like living in the past. every other combination is fine though since that's an ongoing friendship (knock on wood).
I think the ones where Matt hated it are fairly obvious. RE5 comes to mind, what a miserable fucking time that felt like.
That's the one I'm watching now and I thought he seemed to be enjoying it at the start but yeah by the end it's just a slog for him
Honestly just bring paige and fugginz on the main channel and everything will be fine.
Really not too bummed considering it seems Matt is the major problem zone, I love them all to death but Matt needed to be out over a year ago. Thankfully Pat, Liam and woolies solo content is awesome and Matt has a strong gimmick with bug report
Fugginz has a job so I doubt he would. Shame plague is so far away, I wouldn't mind him as part of the gang
Even though it was Matt and Woolie, he was clearly haven't a bad time with THUG2. It's a shame because I thought I'd love seeing TBFP do a game I used to play every day, but Matt's attitude during the whole thing is just really sour.
