I think I'll start rewatching old LPs now, I'm missing the guys really bad already. Can't wait until they get back to atleast making their solo content. Woolie's podcast helped fill some of the void.

I've been listening to old podcast episodes, they get so hype for future garbage I laugh so much more now.

Been getting recommendations for old SBFP stuff. Omikron is still pretty killer, especially after the amount of bumbling in it that I've noticed after watching SuperGreatFriend's blind playthrough (in which he makes a ton of money and makes use of the game mechanics! there's a good bit of extra content there) time to dust off the I Have No Mouth LP again.

I'm excited for Woolie's podcast to really get going, I wasnt so into the first episode but I bet it will pick up and I desperately want some LPs once and a while from Pat and Woolie at least. Matt used to be my favorite, but this whole situation really made me realize that Woolie is the MVP. What will I do next year without the shitstorm?

When's the podcaaaaast. I fell off that shit a while ago when they started consistently creeping into 3+ hour territory (with at least an hour of each episode going to Jojo discussion, Bird Squad, Matt going on yet another vacation with his wealthy inlaws, or duds like Mother's Basement). All I remember is the absolute best episodes of the post-Liam era were consistently the "Matt is in the Bahamas or whatever for the 5th time this month, time for Chewie and Fuckface in the Morning (sometimes featuring Plague)" episodes. And now Castle Superbeast is just that, but 100% of the time. I've been in want of a good podcast since Sleepycast ended and Goosebuds takes for fucking ever to put out. I'm ready to get back in.

Yeah, SBFP was a case of it being more than the sum of its parts. Love 'em all, for sure, but there's a serious lack of dynamic when they're alone.

pat streams make me seriously miss the channel with how different they are. paige is plenty funny, but she's not the calmer foil to pat that matt or woolie were, and she doesn't have the same gargantuan media knowledge that let the best friends riff non-stop plus, two half-hour videos a day were way easier to consume than daily 4+ hour streams.

This is one of the main reasons I'm not huge on streams. That and an inordinate amount of time is dedicated to reading donation messages and the likes, breaking the flow of their gameplay from time to time, or just interrupting any weird shit they were doing. Because you can't ignore a $50 donation, that's just rude. I do hope if they get together to do little bit works with each other for certain games it's done in a standard LP format.

This is why I don't like Pat's streams in particular. Every time I've tried to watch one it takes him an hour+ to even start the game, and then he stops constantly to spend 10 minutes babytalking his cat or to have a ~zany~ argument with Paige. A lot of people seem to find that fun and endearing but personally I find it irritating to watch.
