Okay it's clear now that Pat is the real compact cowboy.
I've come to the conclusion that Woolie and Minh are a pretty good combo. Even if they're having to feel it out a bit still. The ZOE LP on WoolieVs is just generally pleasant watching so far. Chill, but hype about all the right things. And those things are cock pits.
Still keep wanting to call him Billy though.

One of those Red Bull tweets kinda irks me a bit. They seemed to call out Woolie when he didn't even do anything wrong. The whole "This is how you want your community to view us" line smells like salt to me.

You want the ultimate example as to why I really can't stand watching streams in their entirity. Pat's RE2 stream has, while I've watched it, been him literally describing what's going on, reading donations, and the only interaction that he had with chat was to the people he already knew.
And you know what? Every time, it was one of his longtime viewers spamming the chat with 'advice' for shit he already knew about, or about gameplay sections that Pat had cleared like, an hour beforehand
Unfortunitely one of the problems with having such a high viewerbase, chat becomes pretty unreadable.
I just want Pat and Woolie to do a Let's Play together.

Yeah he used to interact with the chat a lot more back in the days when a stream was only had like 600 viewers, at this point it goes so fast it's impossible to follow.

I think it'll be a lot better when they inevitable do start doing proper LPs again. The problem with streaming is you've got a massive audience to entertain that's right in your face while you have life stuff and game stuff going on, it's a lot to balance and few people do it well. LPs at least are focused on the gameplay, your audience is intangible, i guess is a way to put it, and you're more entertaining yourself and your co-hosts rather than focusing on specific chats, if that makes sense. Basically i'm saying their inevitable LP content will be a lot better than their streams, imo.
I think a lot of the problem comes from where to host it. Any new channel they make will take a while to build back up, they won't be able to get the same numbers they got back on TBFP, so they'd be starting pretty much from scratch which I imagine seems quite daunting.

Funny enough I was working on a fake indie game for school and the game featured mechs with a gothic/robust design to them like Big O with the game being around finding dangerous mutants and taking them down. The "game" ended up being a smash during our presentations.
Too bad I misread the guideline thinking I could have an unlimited budget but the real thing ended up being $4,000 Ended up crashing and burning halfway through the development cycle. Still passed though.
That sounds rad. I'd pay top dollar for a game like that.

Much appreciated. Despite misreading the class guideline and going "severely over-budget", at some point when I do get into development I actually want to make a small scale version of this. Maybe just one city or one mech to start with. Got to start somewhere, and with the next class being the same professor, but now we're diving into 3D modeling I may get a chance to shine as a modeler before I can go into the story/writing aspect of game development.
I like big bots and I cannot lie.
This shall be me tagline for the game
