I love how there's that one sock puppet with like 50 pictures of Pat saved on it, constantly trying to insult his appearance, only to get utterly BTFO'd when he agrees with them.
They'll tweet something like "sorry Cliffy poked you in your soft spot, aka your gut" and Pat'll come back with "MAN, YOU THINK MY GUT IS THE ONLY SOFT PART OF ME???", it's incredible.
Pat has long said that throwing yourself under the bus is the strongest move you can pull and I whole heartedly agree. He's just putting it into practice here.

I think I might be retarded, I'm only just now realizing that the dungeon facade behind Pat is a green screen, this whole time I thought he lived in a comfy Canadian loft with like exposed stonework or something, as if there was a grand fireplace just out of view.
It's not a greenscreen, on the first stream they did after moving Paige went behind the couch to knock on the wall and mess with the lights since everybody in the chat thought it was a greenscreen :v

Comparatively, Matt is pulling in 10-20k view averages on most of his Youtube content, higher for Wha' Happun (which is generally a pretty good series compared to some other stuff he has going on (WHENS EDGELORDS)). But I honestly don't see people talking about him as much. He's going to cons and shit, but like nobody really seems to interact with him on Twitter. He's not exposing Cliffy Bs balls on stream. He's just kinda existing and churning out content.
It's good to see Woolie and Pat just fucking powering on through all the SBF baggage and making CSB work. The old SBF podcast is one of the only podcasts I would listen too. It'd suck to lose it.
Matt was always the most passive member of the group so I'm really surprised he hasn't done much outside of his own youtube stuff, which always seemed like what he wanted to focus on.
As someone who follows basically all of their mutuals on twitter, no one interacts with Matt.
no one interacts with him anymore and it's fucking weird. All he does is reblog random stuff and maybe kinda talks to Max sometimes? I appreciate his content, specifically the Wha Happun (Though the most recent episode was basically paraphrased from a recent article in its entirety, including the exact same quotes from devs as were featured in the article) but it's... just kinda cynical now? How do I explain that?
I'm biased, Matt was always my least favourite mainly because of his utter lack of caring about actually participating, leading to entire LPs falling apart, or basically an entire year of the podcast where he was either absent, sick, or not talking for whatever reason.
It sounds harsh, but I do genuinely wonder if he brought this on himself somehow, or if he just purposefully isn't really interacting with anybody. The only person I've seen really interact with him semi-regularly is Truongasm, because she handles video editing for him from time to time. For all his sandbagging I do miss the times he was genuinely hyped for shit.

Honestly I feel like the bad blood with pat caused a lot of people to distance themselves from him especially when pat was trying to reconcile with liam, matts wife said some stupid shit about him trying.

I think Matt's lack of focus on LP content has driven away most of the original fanbase, and people who'd actually be intetested in his videos aren't watching cuz he's always been known more for his LPs.
Which sucks because his non-LP/livestream content is really, really good.
i really like his wha happuh series. I think he's great with scripted videos.
I just don't like solo commentary, if he brought on other people like Woolie has been doing I'd watch more of his LPs
Same, the only videos I really watch on Matt's channel anymore are Crymetina Critiques because there's two of them and they can get some dialogue going about how beautifully dumb JoJo outfits are
Pats solo commentary is fine, but it does help that paige is there most of the time making fun of him in the background.
