NVIDIA's latest driver is pretty awesome. It allows G-Sync for any monitor that has FreeSync, and finally got to try it out just now. I never really used V-Sync in games because tearing never really bothered me, but people weren't kidding with how consistently smooth looking G-Sync is. 45fps looks as smooth as 60fps and any frame drops that go below my 144hz monitor is nigh unnoticeable until I actually get down to ridiculously low numbers below 40-30. Even 30fps locked looks smooth than regular 30fps lock without G-Sync, it's like witchy wizardry voodoo magic.
