Constance always had this great ring to me, ends up gender neutral and has that Constantine connection which is rad in my books
Name this one whatever you must but the next one is Bronglegina the Second
If you don't mind me asking, what ethnicity are you and your girlfriend? Any cultural heritage that either of you are particularly proud of? Sharing your surname or at least its country of origin would be helpful, too.
I just don't want Facepunch to be responsible for naming a little Caucasian girl Abdul Furukawa-Domínguez.
þúriður is a nice girl's name
A friend of mine's called þórhildur. Maybe a bit easier to pronounce
Some I can think of off the top of my head:
Gabrielle
Brielle (Pronounced "Bri-Elle")
Kayla
Valerie
Paula
Anna
Sophie
Let's see... The cute names... That work in English...
Alma, Alice (or Alissa), Ava, Diana, Vera, Theodora, Isidora, Polexia
My cousin is named April, and to me the name is associated with toughness and caring.
Her father was killed in a factory explosion, and she was practically abandoned by her mother for her next husband who was a massive piece of shit. She's faced many hardships, including her first husband being killed by a drunk driver, tragedy after tragedy. Through it all she's withstood it and hasn't cracked yet.
^^^^ Was about to ask this. My wife is Japanese and we went with the format Japanese First name and a American middle name since Japanese people don't have middle names and it won't show up on their Japanese documentation anyway. Not because my wife is or isn't proud of being Japanese, but because we lived in Japan up until last year and once my stint of work is done in the US we will return and since I don't have any family we'll stay in Japan and I'd rather my kids have 'normal' names.
I'm actually a little jealous, when my wife was pregnant with out first child we we're hoping for a girl, it turned out to be a boy and I panicked because i had nothing picked out for boys stuff, only girls. Was going to give her the middle name 'Sophia', dunno why but I've just always been really drawn to that name.
Both mostly australian, i have german and british heritage, she has some british and some indigenous australian heritage. Gf has decided it will have my last name so it will be:
<firstname> elizabeth bolter
Indrah
Nora
Valerie
Vanessa
Zora
I helped name some rats Olive and Holly, i think they're p good names
Tabitha Elizabeth Bolter
Because I totally aren't currently seeing a girl named Tabitha
But... it kinda fits, doesn't it?
Alice
