Yeah man! don't get the Bill Nye there
Not my favourite but I've been getting into mead recently. You can't really get it at supermarkets though so I've only had a couple of different kinds, I'm thinking of making my own soon since it seems a lot simpler than wine or beer home-brewing. My actual favourites are probably either a good cider, rum and coke or gin and tonic.
It's already been pointed out but drinking solely to get drunk / "cos its alcohol", to me, is a much bigger indicator of alcoholism rather than drinking for the taste. Drinking solely for the taste might lead down a dangerous path, but I personally thinking drinking just for drinking sake is more of a sign that you're already on the path. I used to drink "cos its alcohol, innit?" and it very easily turned into "i have to do this", rather than my current stance of "I'll do it for the taste when I want" - I've never been drunk with the latter, but definitely can't say the same about the former, but I guess that could just be boiled down to personal experiences.
A nice pint of Guinness, or on the rare occasion where I consume hard liquor, it's usually a rum and coke.
Whiskey sour, old fashion, and Moscow mule. They take me for ever to make I like doing everything by hand.
Whiskey is quite nice to drink straight, but lately I've been more into vodka. Just some regular Smirnoff is good for mixing, a white Russian is as good as any mixed drink can get. Some vodkas are also pretty good straight, but that really depends on the brand. Keep in mind that there's still a whole bunch of alcohol in them even if it doesn't have the typical alcohol burn, so drink in moderation. A while back I got in contact with a few guys who brew their own mead, and it's really good. They let me taste their wares and since then it's been one of my favourite drinks. There are just so many different flavours, it's hard to just categorize them all as just mead. It's been a while since I had some, but my favourite was the Apimed barrique mead. Their regular mead is really good as well.
Dr. McGillicuddy's (Cherry Liqueur) and Coke. Super simple and really fucking tasty.
Depends on the mood, really. Dirty Martinis are a great way to wind down after a long day at work, but when summer rolls around I tend to make either Gin and Tonics or Dark and Stormies. I used to make Old Fashioneds and Manhattans pretty frequently, but lately I've just been drinking Bourbon and Rye whiskey straight up, namely Bulleit Bourbon and Rittenhouse Rye.
red wine+ lemon soda, very refreshing and not very alcoholic, perfect for hot days
Always loved Moscow Mules. Corpse Reviver No. 2's a personal favorite, but I can't get it often.
Drinking to get drunk is a much surer path to alcoholism t. me
Mouthwash. I don't drink alcohol. I'd probably try a Virgin Mary sometime though
Passoa + rosé wine + some lemon Gin n tonic guiness
Raspberry Smirnoff shots chased with Mountain Dew or Pepsi. Been drinking too much since 2016.
I've been a beer drinker for the last few years and tried to sample as many different varieties from as many countries as I could. But I'm moving back into the world of rum these days, spiced rum to be specific. One of my mates is trying to get me into drinking whiskey but I can not stand the stuff at the moment. If anyone has any suggestions for a good drinkable whiskey, I'm all ears (bear in mind I hated Jim Beam Honey, I don't know how different a single malt will be but I can imagine they'll be a lot stronger in taste so it doesn't bode well)
Gin and cola.
Trappistes Rochefort 10 for beer. Lagavulin 16 for scotch.
Rum and coke
I love margaritas.
Mojito, Gin and Tonic, or a good pale lager. Korean/Japanese beer is some of the best light beer to drink when out with friends, but if I'm gonna get drunk, I'll have a mojito or a gin and tonic.
Anything hard really. Vodka + Gingerale is great. Beer for some reason makes me feel sick now.

https://img.thewhiskyexchange.com/900/tmnob.non3.jpg
Double Cask matured for a classic Speyside taste; rich, smooth and mellow. Amber gold in colour, this rich and elegant Speyside single malt whisky has hints of sweet toffee, honey and, marzipan on the nose with refreshing pineapple, pear and subtle citrus notes on the palate.
The flavours are fucking beautiful, I have drank 10+ bottles in the the last year in my whisky glass, flask, even straight from the bottle if I am having a wild one.My point is that this is a whisky for ANY occasion; whether that be sitting by the fire contemplating decisions/life, or if you just want a very nice tasting whisky to get drunk off of then this right here ladies and gents is the finest drink I have ever consumed and believe me, I do not say that about many things. This stuff tho holy shit it's good. The Marzipan after taste with honey and toffee is just omg
I mostly drink beer. My favorites are Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier Urbock/Märzen or Köstritzer Schwarzbier. Sometimes I buy wine, mostly Riesling. I never learned to appreciate whiskey or vodka or anything stronger really. I feel they make me drunk too quickly and I don't like the taste.
I drink mostly beer but sometimes I got for the more smoother alcohols, when I was young I used to drink some heavy alcohols every weekend which had various (and bad) results. Nowadays, things like Jack Daniels Honey whiskey or Jägermeister with some own country cola is what I run on. Drinking Jägermeister and Kofola (peach flavor) right now after a few months pause. Nutritious and delicious.
Beer and Whiskey Sours are my favorites
I work at a liquor store, so I've been able to expand my palate a lot lately. I'm a big fan of cocktails in general, but gin cocktails are my jam. My current favorite gin is Sipsmith's VJOP – it's worth every penny. I also like Field gin – it's a collaboration between the distillery and the Field Museum, and is based on the botanicals that were at the Columbian Exposition. People poo-poo gin a lot because they get cheap shit that's basically flavored vodka and think that's what all gin is like, but you have to be willing to put up more money to get the best of most liquor. Vodka is the exception – you're mostly paying for a cleaner drink with that, that has less of the bad stuff in it and more pure grain alcohol. I also like a good scotch.
Apple ciders are my stuff.
Dark 'n Stormy! Ginger beer is an amazing mixer
Vodka.
