Agreed, my mix of choice is always a white Russian with whole milk.
If it ain't that, the most local stout they've got
I am a big fan of amaretto, use it baking as much as I drink it.
I kind of want to get drunk (no need to get completely hammered) once in my lifetime just to see how it feels like, and it'd also be nice to be able to drink at least something if I ever go to bars. The one time I went to one was during a local meetup thing, and I was the only one who brought their own non-alcoholic drink which was a bit embarrassing.
If you want to get drunk once then do it on vodka mixed with a strong-flavoured mixer like a good cola or something, don't use a neutral or watery mixer like cranberry. Grape juice is also good.
Honestly though, you know who I look at in a bar and see as the hardest motherfucker? Not the asshole necking back ten shots because honestly drinking is easy, it's controlling yourself while drunk that's hard. The person I view as the hardest motherfucker is the person drinking a soft drink and having a good time while all the assholes around them stumble over and piss themselves by the end of the night. Sounds lame to some, but honestly it takes more balls to abstain than it does to indulge.
Beer is usually my go-to, preferably a nice stout or IPA. Love going to local breweries and trying out everything they have on stock, makes travelling a lot more fun. But if I'm going for harder stuff or cocktails, a good gin and tonic is probably my go-to, but I do love me a scotch and soda too. Jagerbombs and Irish Carbombs are super good too, same with Irish coffee if you plan on starting your day off on the right foot.
Generally I don't drink 'em to get drunk, but sometimes gettin' a buzz goin' is pretty fun, especially if you're out on the town with some pals.
Wouldn't milk curdle in whiskey? I suppose alcohol is a solvent and maybe it would be okay, but a lot of stuff doesn't like mixing with milk.
Why? I can make 3 coffee very quickly with a kettle.
In terms of the question at hand, I also like whiskey, but it's situational. I like Kopperberg cider or red wine with meals, whiskey honey for getting drunk and white wine for chilling out in the evenings.

mocha mint
Malibu and Coke is my mainline go-to
Also me and my roommate invented a drink we call Milk Plus:
2 shots Whipped Cream Vodka
2 shots Kahlua
2 shots Irish Cream
Fill the rest of the glass with Ice and Milk
This shit's dangerous. No taste of alcohol whatsoever, only creamy chocolaty goodness.
I prefer to drink alone nowadays so oftentimes I just go with a gin&tonic or a bottom-shelf liter of sweet red wine. Absinthe is good too but I rarely get that anymore since the real stuff is outlawed in the US. When I used to party with friends back in early college we'd usually knock back these cocktails with RumChata and Fireball whiskey, with various other additions depending on the season. The two are cheap and effective on their own, though you have to be careful mixing in anything non-alcoholic or the whole drink will turn solid.
good port on its own
I use a capsule machine so its not that fast. Also milk does mix with whiskey but its not that great tastewise. I usually either dont mix with anything but coffee or put some extra water in.
penicillin:
whiskey,
lemon,
ginger,
honey syrup
more fragrant/expensive whiskey misted/layered on top
garnish:
candied ginger
like a whiskey ginger without soda
since it's the only drink I remember the name of, strawberry daiquiri
there are two more but I don't know their name. one of them was offered to me by the bartender and it wasn't on the menu. it had ginger, some mint stuff, and something else I can't remember.
the second one had chili, pomegranate and something else. spicy and delicious

This stuff is so good. Shame you can't get it here in Norway without paying an insane amount of money.
I'm really into wheat beers, and I prefer the ones that lean more towards tasting like bread rather than citrus, so German ones typically. Although lately I've also begun really appreciating the clear refreshing taste of a simple pale lager.
