I love how I can just call my misfortune ahead of time. It's like clockwork. I get to the weekend after an incredibly stressful week and life throws me another curveball to deal with. I had already been plagued with severe migraines towards the beginning of the week, and I'd had to flex for so much time off that I ended up having to work like 18 hours straight overnight last night. I was lamenting how tired I was and that I knew I was just walking into whatever fresh hell awaited me this weekend. I was just like "Alright, where is it? Where's the next thing?" After taking care of a few things around the house, I decided to take a nap. I flipped on the TV in my room that I like to listen to while sleeping and crashed out for about three hours. I was asleep the entire time, and this TV is like 10 feet away from my bed and high up on a wall where nothing would have ever accidentally touched it. Granted... this isn't urgent or impactful to my life... I can deal with it at my leisure, but I just can't believe how inescapable my bad luck is. It's just really starting to wear on me when stuff like this happens 3-4 hours into my weekend where I'm meant to be recuperating.

Did it seriously take months for these clowns to reply with this? I recently had a picture leaked from my twitter (I keep it seperate from real life associations for reasons) but it only took them minutes to take down, so how the fuck does this take months just for them to shrug it off?? Facebook needs to rework their moderation team.

Previously on thursday,my teacher is informing us about assignment with powerpoints. She said she going to send the ppt (that contains the instruction) to everyone. Guess what? no inbox in my uni email until now. I can bet that she will send it when the deadline is near,then proceed to blame me because "Im slacking off"

What pisses me off is I can have full on conversations with friends and the moment I ask if they want to hang out or plan something in the week, They disappear for the rest of the day. This seems to happen with a lot of friends. Just say no goddamn. I'm tired of fake people. Also when people add me on Facebook and when I try to talk to them, I just get left on read. Just going on a tangent and addressing this particular post, but Formula 1 can be watched on Kayo. It is run by Foxtel, but it only costs $25 per month. The races are streamed live and the replays are also uploaded, and I’ve only ever seen ad breaks during pre-race (they have the commentary by David Croft and Martin Brundle, who do it for Sky in the UK, which must have ad breaks itself). Plus, they feature other championships like Formula 2, MotoGP and World Rallycross. I’m aware that I sound like an ad right now, but it’s actually a decent little service. My only complaints are the limited platform availability and that the UI is counter-intuitive. But fuck, it’s not a bad deal.

I wish people who were deep into games for hours would at least check once in a while on messages or during breaks in the game, it's genuinely impossible to communicate this way and I've dealt with too many flaky and ghosting, or outright dishonest dicks in the past. I feel like I'm turning bitter throughout the years becuase of this. Also, fuck the cunt who sent off fireworks at almost 3 AM.

As someone utterly guilty of this I'l have you know that I spend most of my ingame time with notifications disabled because 5 seconds of downtime can easily cost me a 3 hour match of AoE II or most other RTS games.

I know I've brought this up for the third time now, but I keep seeing these nasty news reports on this. Why does no school in existence do anything about bullying? It's always like this: Making someone say "sorry" doesn't stop the bully. Making the victim move to a different school doesn't stop the bully. And relocating the victim rather than the bully sometimes makes it worse for the victim. Teachers saying "Oh I'm sure he didn't mean it!" does nothing. Teachers saying "Oh I'm sure you two can work it out!" does nothing. Teachers saying "Oh I'm sure it was just an accident." does nothing. This is one I've heard so many times. Of course the harasser is gonna say "Uhh, yeah. It was an accident." Teachers saying "Well it's in the past now. Nothing I can do." is beyond stupid. I've also heard this one a lot. Simply saying "Bullying is nOt TolErAtED here!! >={" means nothing if that isn't enforced. If you fight back against the bully, the victim gets in trouble. If you tell a teacher instead, you get this "tattle tale" rep. Double-edged sword. Woo. Using the "Well don't do X if you don't wanna get bullied!" is just a lazy, doofy excuse. Sure, you shouldn't embarrass yourself, but it's not a "free pass" to be douchy to someone. What is it about stepping inside American schools that makes all logic disappear?

It annoys me so goddamn much when people say it's not possible to harshly punish leavers in online competitive games because "What if someone's internet drops???" Like, if your internet is honestly so shitty that it can't survive a 10-15 minute round of online play, you shouldn't be playing competitive team-based games at all, simple as that. So yes, penalize them until they get the fucking message if you have to. There are so many singleplayer and casual-multiplayer games out there. There's literally no excuse for shitting up someone else's competitive experience with your Walmart-brand internet for the sake of being inclusive.
