And it's been happening when I'm on the front page and received a good amount of up-votes within a short period of time. But as soon as it bypass over 150 up-votes, it automatically gets remove. How I can never ever upload a video to Twitter because it's not just that it has to be an MP4, no it has to be a certain bitrate and a certain encoding format and you have to download some third party software to ensure that your videos are the exact perfect Twitter encoding properties

Apparently, my younger brother watched the MJ documentary, and he was talking about it with my other siblings in a discord server. I get the feeling all my siblings are going to be convinced that MJ's a pedo, now.

I sure do love there being only one way for me to get home from work. I'm being forced to stay in every day until 5. The freeway is a parking lot after 4:30 on any normal day, and a parking lot on friday after lunch. I'm currently looking at a 45 minute delay to get down the freeway, and it could go up to an hour within the next 2 hours. God I really feel like I'm going to be so productive when my entire life revolves around sitting in a loud office with no privacy. They might as well just mandate I live in the building.

When you haven't run a game/game manager in a freaking hell of a long time, and have to wait through like 100 backed up updates to play something.

I solve this by trying to leave before the morning rush hour on the way to work, and after the afternoon rush hour on the way home. So I leave home at 7:15, get to work at 8:00, leave work at 18:30, get home at 19:15. I mean yeah, it’s a 10.5 hour work day, but it works out because overtime is just how my profession works. You don’t get promoted for leaving at 17:00 on the dot every day.

My parents are such fucking assholes. I severed all contact back in November because they bullied my clinically-depressed sister into a suicide attempt and then had the fucking gall to not only show zero remorse but act like the aggrieved party when I got justifiably angry about it. They're narcissistic as fuck, so they believe her depression is faked to hurt them and that me questioning their actions is an affront to everything good and holy. Since then, I've been no contact and my sister's been minimal contact. I'm concerned for my sister still keeping them around even at arm's length but she's younger than me so I don't judge her or encourage her to ditch them like I have. She's only moved out on her own in the last year and has been undergoing a lot of growing pains in that respect so I don't blame her for taking whatever support she can get. Anyway I just found out today that apparently our parents aren't happy that we still hang out and see each other on a regular basis. While she was visiting a few weekends ago, our dad called her. I was still asleep in the other room so she kept her voice down so she wouldn't wake me up. After she left, she got a text from our dad popping off about how her speaking in a hushed tone meant that I was actively trying to interfere with the call because I don't like her talking to him. Despite it being just patently untrue, and my sister telling him exactly what was happening, this is apparently the official narrative now, and the fact that she immediately shut down that line of distorted argumentation with the truth has apparently been made grounds to ice her out. This is something they do constantly. When they want something selfish, they will often project that desire onto someone else in order to justify actions that lead them to getting what they want. In this case, they don't want her keeping contact with me, so they're making up a narrative that I don't want her keeping contact with them. That's objectively bad, so they get the moral high-ground in insisting that she stop hanging out with me "if I'm going to do that". Worse is that this is perfect timing for them to wrap her birthday up into the mix, completely blowing it off and making her feel worthless over taking a side that doesn't even exist in a conflict that never happened. Worse is they're knowingly and intentionally buying into their own bullshit to justify hurting their daughter to take a glancing shot at their son.

I'm copying them from an external drive, and they stay after disconnecting; but then disappear at some point while using them with Adobe XD. They seem to stick around when put into another folder, and my test file hasn't disappeared from downloads either.

I have this co-worker who keeps blasting shitty sadgirl and russian music every single day, also singing along. At one point i actually couldn't handle and i went on a serious rant because i was too pissed and annoyed.

The "Quintessential Brit" persona some people put on online. There are several Youtube creators who do it, and at this point it's just such a dead horse. It just comes of as super cringey. One example is the SpiffingBrit, I really like his content but he just has to play into that gimmick in every single of his videos, god, it's awful. Not that I don't like Brits in general. Look at Lindybeige, he actually is very stereotypically British, but you can tell it's genuine and because of that it's not an issue in any way. But once people start making hilarious tea-related jokes and start speaking like a 1880s British industry magnate I just can't take it.
