you cannot escape i am pretty fine, been clearing things out of my grandma's house this week whattabout u
yeah life is still pretty good right now. it's weird not having my grandma around any longer, but she was in such poor health for a while, it's like having a weight lifted off from my back. still really sucks, because she would have made it for at least another 10-12 years if she didn't have her breathing issues. but it is what it is.
It's usually pretty tough to lose someone, I lost my grandma on my dad's side of the family when I was 16. She was always a huge part of my life as well, so that was rough to go through. My grandma on my mom's side had a couple nasty cases of pneumonia over her lifetime and developed bronchiectasis, which progressed quite fast over the past three years or so. But either way I was able to spend a lot of time with her, I helped maintain her house and property once she could no longer do it. So near the end I was pretty much over there a minimum of three times per week. It's still weird to not have her around, but as I said it's also a relief. That's how it was when my grandpa on my mom's side of the family had died, it was tough but he had also been quite sick for the past 20 years. When someone is that sick for such a long period of time, you're better prepared for when their time is up.
Ahh the director of the Industrial Immersion Program in my department contacted me directly to ask if I want to do a funded summer research opportunity. This is great

Anyone knows good sauces or pastes or anything to add to hamburgers? Tomorrow I'll cook some and I need to add some spicy stuff to 'em.
Well, there's always the classic ketchup and mustard to rely on, but there's also a variety of different ketchups and mustards you could use. You can also use a variety of barbecue sauces, mayo, thousand island dressing (a very small amount, just enough to spread on one side of the bun with a butter knife), tobasco sauce (if anyone enjoys it), various hot sauces, that fry sauce stuff that's actually just mayo and ketchup mixed together, and sriracha sauce. I know some of those might sound a bit weird to have on a burger, but they're surprisingly not that bad.
Did someone say something?
