it's not really off-topic when it's the only thing we're talking about, everybody here is sharing their personal opinions and anecdotes. The only difference between that post and the other shitters complaining was that post was concise whereas everybody else wrote a damn book.
I gotta ask dude, are you seriously going to let some of these people keep modding on KOC? Opinion was just starting to swing towards the positive but it's being put right back to square one right now. Are you going to let KOC keep floundering by carrying over all the problems from here or are you going to address them and try to make KOC a better place than this could have been? Please, level with us here.

the mod team will change from fp to knockout and the remaining mods will be evaluated for their performance there. i don't really get why there's a need to ban people in the last 24h of the forums but fp isn't mine and i'm not hezzy.
we'll always be open to discussions about the mod team in the meta forum, feel free to make a thread to express concerns (or post in the forums discussion thread there if you don't want to make a whole thread)

lets wait until we're all actually on knockout before we start tearing down the mod team. I've been out of the loop on mod drama, so there might be a few bad apples that really need to step down. otherwise, I think it's best we migrate with the current mod team and then sort it out from there. knockout might have different modding demands anyway, so I'm guessing the mod team was always going to be mixed up anyway.
it's a good way to 'keep the community' together, having the mods carry over. (assuming they don't keep banning everyone before the transition is even finished.)

Well since we're not going to be here much longer i'm going to speak my mind about a couple of things.
@Layla The way you handled that Gmod Tracking tool incident was just god fucking awful, totally immature and unprofessional. You acted like a 5 year old during the whole thing.
Thanks you to @garry for creating Garry's Mod, and the Facepunch forums that have given me so many good memories and all the friends I have made playing Garry's Mod over the years.
And to literally everyone on the Facepunch forums: Thanks for just being here, you guys are what made the forums a good place to come to.
Even once Facepunch Forums has shutdown, it will still live on in our memories. I'm sure we all have good and bad memories of here. But I know for sure I will definitely not forgot the good ones.

so why have a lot of people turned on knockout? it seems incredibly entitled and childish to just suddenly turn on a fourm that absolutely didnt need to exist being done to give you a place to go after everything is said and done
everyone was fine with it but now people would rather waste money on a something awful account then post on knockout, and it has me incredibly confused
